I love how wide open the back of the cabin is. Amazing it holds the mast up without a compression post going through the middle of the cabin someplace.

The next time you plan to stain softwoods, you may want to try Minwax brand 'Conditioner' as your first coat. This is a personal preference - so you may not care for the result. However, I find that the final color is far more consistent. The 'tiger' pattern of plywood and the blotchiness of solid softwood is considerably toned down. Just sharing my experience 😊 Looking forward to seeing you on the water! 👍

Nice job. But are you going to put hatches in the V berth? It would be nice to be able to access the space under the bunks for storage.

Will you be painting the inside of the lockers? The lids look so good that they deserve to have nicely painted lockers below them when they are opened.
