As you spit your cornflakes at the screen, looking at the price of the new TAG KISH Heuer F1 releases, I bring out a bit of 60s Vintage! The King Seiko 5626-7030 with its 38.5mm case, Hi-Beat movement (Superior Chronomter no less) has got it all. Let's take a look!

1969 is my birth year. There were lots of cool Seikos in that era. The Seiko Stelux bracelets of this era were also cool. I've looked for a couple of years for a 1969 Seiko Sports to my liking. They're tough to find all original at a reasonable price.

Yes hard to find good sports watches from that era, as they were treated like sports watches. I think a nice early Pogue would be awesome!

Very fine video , and a Great watch, the only wrong sentence is the one about the hi beat frequency, the seiko 5626 movement is a 28800 bph, an 8hz movement, not a 10 beats a seconds as you declared. thanks soft sharing this beauty.

Thank you, and yes I realized after I said it that this is not a HiBeat but couldn't be bothered to edit it out! Life is too short for editing! It's remarkable how well these movements stand up to time. They are solid!

Hello hello, I've got a quick question. Does your crystal have a slight greenish colour to it? Cos mine does... just wondering if yours has it also. Tq!

Hello, no mine doesn't have a greenish colour to it. I believe my crystal is still the original one, as it's quite scratched and dented, which I like!
