Thanks so much for showing us this set. As a child of the 80s I love all of these Legoland sets with the yellow banner. I have the 1981 fire station and the 1986 police station but I'd love to pick up this set at some point. There's something very exciting about picking up any sets from this era.

As an AT&T employee only you could make 1983 technology sound interesting. That whole rabbit hole because of 2 small printed pieces. The 1986 police station is my favourite

That was a really nice set. I turned 13 in 1983 and got it for my birthday. In Europe I believe it had a different item number though.

I love this set! It was my first and only “big” set that I got as a kid. I rebuilt it last year with new white bricks and I’d have to say it was more enjoyable for me to build than any of the new sets produced today. So much nostalgia!

One of my first sets, got it when I was 6. Still have most of the pieces, and recently picked up the missing parts (basically the antenna and some of the garage door). So much simple fun in this set.

I was so excited to see this video! That police station was my first “big” set after only having a couple small classic space sets. It was either 1983 or 1984 when I got the police station but I remember building sand rebuilding that set so many times. My sister and I even had names for the mini figs! I only remember the motorcycle officer was Keith and we must have decided the figure with the red shirt was a woman because we called her Mary, lol! But oh great memories of that set. And the good news is I still have it! I may have to pull it out and build it again, just for old times sake. Greet video, Jaabo! The motorcycle shop was the next set I got around that same time period if you happen to have that one too!

You think that windshield piece for the motorcycle is hard? Try looking for the motorcycle itself!! I have the wheels for 2, and one body with broken handlebars, so I've just been looking for the bodies...most stores I find them in want twice as much just for the body as they do a complete assembly!! On the policemen front, I was quite surprised that my local Bricks & Minifigs had the torsos for both the normal and the moto/helicopter/diver versions. I've even found the solid stud, plain smiley face heads and plain legs, so if you end up needing more, I'd say look there!!

I pieced together set 432 recently without the tree, or correct base plate. It’s The yellow “station“ from 1969. Pretty cool set do you have that one?

I still have that set with box and everything, though I replaced all of of the white bricks. I used to play with it outside when I was a kid and they turned yellow. Does that lower the value? It's not a very valuable set anyway!
