Today we dive into the 3D modeling done on this motorcycle to showcase the upgrades made to this 1967 Honda CL90 Scrambler. We've introduced a new motor, battery, and controller, replacing the original 2 kW Kunray motor and 48V battery with a more powerful configuration featuring a 9 kW QS120 motor and 72V battery connected with the EM-100 controller. The power is immediate and the CL90 is now capable of speeds up to 35 MPH.

Great videos. Came to your site as I am restoring an S90. Watching your seat of the pants engineering is great. For my restoration I always have electric conversion in my back pocket if things change. Well done!

How has this video not been seen by more people! I'm looking to do something similar with a cb100n. Debating been the qs120 and 138. 99% of the time 35mph will be fine... But 1% of the time I'll want much more 😅

I definitely recommend going for the 138! Bigger is always better. But yea, I would love to make these full time.. so fun to mess around with.

This is such an awesome idea, and you freaking did it! How about having the batteries right under the “gas tank”?

That was my initial thought too! Unfortunately for the power output and mileage I wanted for it the battery just would not fit. Still more work to be done!
