Wow awesome job on this video Haley! You look so pretty in that blue dress and you also look so beautiful in those long denim overalls! 😊 awesome job on this video! ☺️
That sue wong dress is so fun, I love the lacey bit at the bottom! That last teal dress is gorgeous too! I really like your make up in this video it's so shiny❤
Omg at the cat skirt!! That is absolute perfection!! I think that the vintage border prints are spectacular 😍 I'm starting to feel like those overalls are going to be a must have for rural OK life, especially come winter, when I can layer pants under for extra warmth on the icy days when I have to take our goldens out. Cold days are their favorites 🥶
nice! i love everything you got...lol even the gs...i dont lean to that look but i really liked both dresses...my favorite though is that white beautiful doily collared shirt paired with the tartan...it look amazing on you! love watching the hauls, tfs:)
Love the black dandelion dress, it’s an interesting design and looks great on you. Regarding the way you shortened the last dress (also a super cute style), I have a Singer Sewing Book from 1972 that calls that type of pleating “growth tucks” and suggests adding them into children’s clothes near the hem and waistline. I don’t recall ever having them in the clothes my mom made for me in the 1970s and 1980s, though, so maybe it wasn’t that popular a thing to do?
That black dress is killer on you, and I really really really like the blue one 9:53 on you as well. Such range! I also enjoy seeing how younger gens use and appeal to 60s, 70s styles ... be it make up, hair & clothing especially. Good times for us older folk to see and experience! Hi Spooky! 🖤x
Gunny saxs came in jr suzes. I used to try them on at Brooks store in the 70s. Not sure how the sizes transfer to todays sizes though. Thanks for sharing you cool new stuff.
Enjoy your channel. Guess what? I’m coming through Seattle🙌🏽🙌🏽 never been before but I actually have a cousin that lives there. I’m headed on a cruise🎉🎉 I’m sure I won’t see you but if you have any recommendations for fabric shops or thrift stores I’ll be happy that I actually visited a business that you’ve shopped in😊 Enjoying todays post as usual…Thank for sharing Oh..love the necklace you’re wearing
@@HaleyMarieVintage my visit was amazing. Went into the park and the space needle. Didn’t get to fabric shop but my cousin and his friend say they will take me to thrift when I come back and I definitely plan to. I did throw tour name around like I knew you 😂😂😂
Native Scot here and your pronunciation of Pitlochry is not far off! Excellent work. The “ch” sound is quite gutteral, like a cat hiss at the back of your throat, kind of an “augh” sound (like that awful viral TikTok thing) Pit-loch-ree 😊
In case of linen naive: I thought the same. The dresses look so good, the fabric seems to be pretty good and ethically sourced - but I couldn’t, for the life of me, find information about the production. So I wrote them. I stated that I’d like to know where these dresses are being sewn because I try to avoid sweatshop clothes. Well, they answered. Their answer was super short: they are seated in, produce in and ship from china. No information about the conditions or anything else. To me, this is pretty telling. Ethical brands are proud to give you information. Even as a traditional Chinese brand focusing on quality than quantity, they could use this type of marketing. They chose not to - instead they label their fabrics as european and pump money into influencer marketing. In my eyes this is just a way of “green washing” but for ethics.
Agreed, and I actually consider this type of deception greenwashing as well, most environmentalists worth their salt consider the exploitation of people as part of being bad for the planet!
