pretty cool to see these karts......here in southern cal I can remember going to Edwards or Sundown Swapmeet and seeing these type of karts going for like $50 bucks semi thrashed condition but running,,this was like back in the early 80s

my grandfather had a margay sidewinder in pristine condition with the stainless tanks and a komet engine in his basement for 40 years until one day I asked about it and he told me he had sold it to a carpetbagger along with a cheetah for $500 because my grandma was sick. Oh the humanity!!1

'72-73 Margay Concept Enduro. I had one in 1979 as my first enduro kart. Mine had the headrest hoop welded directly to the upper bends going over the rear axle and was missing the "nad pad" on the steering upright. Even had the "Monte Carlo" flip gas caps. The tanks were originally polished aluminum. The rear end wasn't welded like most...it was mounted on conicle rubber bushings, as were the tanks. I've never seen something so artfully designed and built since.

yeah..my friend just picked up a 90 something margay off some lame dude that didn't know dick about them.now I got someone that will try to keep up with me n my 95 puma margay
