Thanks for sharing your knowledge of boating. Your channel is one of the few that actually shows the good and bad of owning a vintage trawler. I really like your "how to" videos of boat maintenance. I have started looking for a vintage trawler and your channel has educated me on the process of finding the right boat.
Really enjoying your channel. I am a absolute rookie when it comes to buying a trawler. Looking to purchase a boat in the future. Your channel offers alot of good information for me.
a good thing to know....Lehman diesel manual says it goes 10,000 hours before any rebuild is needed,........it can run many more hours than that but that's what they recomend so don't be scared if you see Lehmans diesels with a few thousand hours it's not a big deal
Yep. I know all about that Paperwork all too well. I bought a simple 12 foot aluminum boat with a trailer for $1000 with a promise that he would provide the paperwork which never came. So to solve that problem I sold the boat in Mexico with no paperwork for pesos
Lol your video hit close to home with me. You know the jefferson I was looking at.... well it's not a Jeff, and it has a bad Hin# . I had to walk on that one .... still lookin
Another great video, and I was almost positive the new boat you were talking about was a dinghy. I would really like to know what you think about the differences between fiberglass, steel, and aluminum trawlers under $100,000?
Hey Paul, I sent you a question a while back on one of your older videos but you may not have seen it yet. I have a Lien Hwa 50 foot trawler that has three levels. I was curious what category does it fall under. On one of your older videos you’re talking about the three different designs but my boat didn’t fall under any of those designs. Thanks for the response in advance.
Sorry your boat deal fell through. What's the saying, "if it's too good to be true, it's probably not a good deal". At least you didn't loose your money.
