Just bought this guitar in a bit more of a yellow shade, can't wait for it to arrive! Sounds very good. The fingerboard is beautiful! UPDATE: The guitar I received is the same color as yours and I totally dig it! somewhere above Squier's best and close to my Fender MIMs in quality and playability.
My Son is a lefty, got him a Vintage S type guitar, as good as my Fender, very playable out the box, no issues 2 years later and he plays it and gigs it, they aren't a budget guitar, you are paying for what you get, just not paying for a label or marketing.
Wow what a killer guitar, Rich! And as always.... crazy sikk playing Bro. You're the man. I love that backing track too. Can't do what you can do on it... but I like to jamm on that track too. Lastly.... is someone trying to high-jack this thread, in your name? What are all those telegram comments below about? Is that you? I don't think it is. Just a heads-up if you haven't seen it yet.
Wow awesome playing Rich 👍🏻 I just found this today. I own one of those Vintage V62s and it is a great guitar, but the volume pot crapped out on me. 🤷🏻♂️
I have the Vintage Lemon Drop and it is every bit as good as my "proper" Les Paul and of course you've got that out of phase Peter Green sound. They all have Trev Wilkinson pickups and hardware which is as good as any.
@@RichBischoff Btw, what's with the ice skating music? lol. Btw, I somehow forgot to mention that that's a sweet looking guitar on top of sounding awesome.
Hey Rich great playing as usual. Probably made in China or Viet Nam right? I have a Harley Benton TE70 I just swapped out the pickups to Tone Hatch underwound, and filed the fret ends, it real good now. I recommend the Tone Hatch pickups out of Nebraska he does a great job for about $85 👍
Vintage really do some great budget-friendly guitars. I got the Thomas Blug signature strat, the Monterey style one, and it's a solid guitar for the price. I think I'd change the PUs but that's about it.
I have their jimi strat and it has the best neck of any guitar I have ever had and I have had many guitars and even a fender eric Clapton signature model.
Thanks! Excellent practical review + great chops. I bought one - half-painted off-white. Looks like shite but good sounds. I like the darker fingerboard with the Vintage Teles - on the bridge PU, the treble is overpowering with the blonde wood. Overall, good deal! Sounds like a Tele.
Rich, I also have been amazed at the quality of really cheap guitars these days . BUT have learned, its all about the neck . everything else can be modded relatively cheap . Personally feel for just a little more used made in Mexico you get a guitar that has had time to show if its going to warp or do something funky. Either real Rosewood or plain maple fretboards for me. I'm spoiled. Really sold on Sire guitars they seem the kings of cheap right now. Nice playing in this vid.
I bought the Thomas Blug vintage signature model and almost fell on the floor it was that amazing but it was like 800$ in that area pickups are beautiful
