Hi Craig need to catch up on the 80’s videos you have been doing. Natalie Merchant is my favorite female artist and tigerLilly I only have on cd. Would love to get on vinyl. The Dylan record you showed yes I never hear anything good about but it is on my want list as well. Pork soda I thought was Primus😊 . Talking heads I really like but no vinyl records yet. great pick ups.
Great selection Craig ! I’m really jealous of that Madonna box set 🤩..Fontaine DC are quite the thing here in Europe ..glad You enjoy them (looove the album cover🩷)
Quite the variety Craig. Thanks for sharing some of the tracks on that Dylan album. One that I would see constantly in and around the used record shops in Boston. But I never really looked at it in any great detail. There was a rumor going around that Jonathan Richmond actually wrote Big Yellow Taxi and not Joni. Cool to hear that Bob covers it on that album. How is that Lightning Seeds album overall? I remember Cloudcuckooland's release. "Pure" got some bigtime airplay. 10,000 Maniacs MTV has made the rounds in some other VC videos. Way to go Craig. You stay on top of the classic artists as well as the now~ Rob/Boston
Craig - Fantastic video. Tigerlily is a favorite of mine. I own "Paradise is There" and love how Natalie's voice has matured. The orchestral arrangements are gorgeous. We may have different opinions on "Beloved Wife", which is my second favorite Natalie Merchant song. "Verdi Cries" is my favorite. The Unplugged performance is special to me. I could go on forever talking about Natlie/1,000 Maniacs. The Cohen album is hauntingly beautiful. (you're welcome - cute card)
@@mad4vinyl802 I do like “Paradise is There” quite a lot but the version of beloved wife just doesn’t move me as much as the original does. Verdi Cries is also my favorite 10,000 Maniacs song. Glad you got the card!
Good grief commented too soon. I tried to buy 10000 maniacs unplugged at the record store this week but they did not have it. They sold the last copy. Looking to pick up online. That Teqrs for Fears album is great.
Dylan was the LP that Colombia put out when Bob went over to Asylum for a couple records. Putting out whatever they still had. Love your videos, solo and with the gunkles
Newly subbed to your channel! Cohen took some time to get on me as well. You showed some really great stuff! Nelly, Natalie, Madonna! Looks like you have a large collection and variety of taste!
@@TheAuditoryVinyl thank you for subscribing! I listen to just about everything. I hated Cohen for the longest time. I think I needed to mature more to appreciate him correctly. It was the sane thing with Dylan couldn’t stand him for the longest time. It’s the vocals. But now I’m enjoying them both quite a lot.
