that was a solid purchase mate. no worries. dont overlook the humblebums record, billy connely was actually a pretty good folk musician, that album is with gerry rafferty , you know, stuck in the middle with you and baker street guy. probably not that valuable, but pretty good.

I think it's great you do these videos and are not snobby and not holding onto secret knowledge like some vinyl collectors (I'd admit we are a funny bunch) John 6" is a great guy who has extremely broad tastes and knowledge to utilize. He definitely has 'an eye' it's not just head it's heart too. Anyway depends on your clientele but only thing I'd add is keep the stock moving otherwise people get bored seeing same stuff in the racks. eBay is entirely different though. All the best, Martin.

Your Ummagumma is a Gigi cover, they airbrushed the record on the floor out after the first couple of UK presses. Nothing crazy but shows it's an early one.

First bundle you flicked through, very last record was "Rockdrill" by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Is there a track called "No complaints department" on it or is it the alternative "Mrs Blackhouse"? The back cover may have a sticker over the track listing

Did you check the condition of them before agreeing to buy them? Just I’ve heard you say in various videos that generally you don’t. I would strongly suggest going forward that you do, especially when spending 4 figures on a collection. Obviously won’t be able to look at every one when it’s this quantity but just look at a sample of them. Sometimes you can get really nice condition sleeves with marked records inside and likewise slightly tatty sleeves with really nice condition records in them.

Hi mate thanks for watching. Personally I use waterwipes and the cheapest kitchen roll. The waterwipes are 99.9 water. Never had any complaints from customers about it. There's alot more expensive ways but the vast majority of the records I sell online are £9.99. Having a shop ill probably invest in a professional cleaning machine
