From what I remember the drivers are installed in the cutting software. Here is an article from uscutter that I found maybe it can help you better, there are some other links there also. support.uscutter.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037961271-How-to-Install-your-Cutter-Driver-through-VinylMaster
Extra lines as in dragging blade between cuts? Or really extra cut lines? Extra cut lines are likely caused by static electricity build up. That's what the yellow/green wire is for. If the extra lines are caused by a dragging blade, there might be something wrong with the height the carriage goes up between the cuts. That's what happened with my cutter. Could also be caused by vinyl that is not flat enough.
I have this machine and I’ve had it for 20 years . Good machine. My only problem is my 20 year old computer died. What software are u using on your laptop? And what cord now that it’s usb ?
i have this same problem. cut for 11 years great using serial-to-usb / windows xp / roland gx-500 drivers. now that my xp computer died, im trying to get it working using windows 10 but so far no joy
Hey sorry I just saw your comment! Here is the link to the software we use: uscutter.com/VinylMasterCut-Software-Value/ We used this same software on a much older machine and it worked great with it. The cord we use is this cord: amzn.to/3uUug7H I hope that helps both of you out! Good luck!
Nope all it should take is plugging it in to the wall and then switching on the power button. That stinks, but at least they have a return/ replace option. Good luck.
It is 28 inches wide and here is the link of where I got it: uscutter.com/USCutter-MH-Series-Vinyl-Cutter-w-VinylMaster-Cut-Design-Cut-Software/ I got it black Friday when it was on sale.
Adjusting the pressure of the guide wheels that move the paper in and out would be what I would try. There are gold screws on the back of those wheels by the levers that lower them down. If you adjust those screws they might apply less pressure. I have not tried it though so definitely test it out a little at a time.
@@countrysparkles oh no I mean it won’t cut through the paper all the way lol but if I increase the pressure of the needle it cuts across the vinyl instead of lifting up all the way like it’s supposed to
@@countrysparkles oh yeah I did, it messed up the rest of my paper I had left. I think it was more of the paper than anything. Thank you for your help though your video was very helpful!
Yes, start watching it at 25:26 and I explain what happened and show it better. Pretty much we had to adjust the top roller because we had it right in the middle of the 2 bottom rollers. We just moved it over, and haven't had a problem since. If it is still putting too much pressure and leaving a line on your vinyl maybe try adjusting the wheel pressure on the back with the wheel lever. That is what I would look at.
