My 2 most recent rock/metal vinyl grabs were Turnstile's Glow On and APC's Thirteenth Step. Awesome to see you copped theirs too. Excellent record.

I also need a Cassette player. Nabbed a Baphomet's Blood tape a while back. I never find anything from these guys and they are legit Speed Metal.

Recently I got the Sorrow and Extinction anniversary triple LP from Pallbearer that includes their 2010 demo and it's the most beautiful vinyl I've ever bought.

Nice records! I want that Satan LP. i always thought of them as the real missing link between Raven and metallica. Satan has the speed and energy but also the duel melodic guitar attack. Also yea, Sonic Boom! Also also, somewhere around here I have an original Testament The new order cassette. I don't love cassettes personally, but I just got a new/old tape deck. Now I have to find where the hell all my cassettes went. I know they made it here on this move. At least I'm pretty sure they did. Damnit.

I got the Space Jam soundtrack on vinyl recently and I couldn't be more proud of it. I also have both my favourite metal album of all time (Altars of Madness) and my favourite rock album of all time (Aerosmith Pump) on the way in the New Year. Also really want to get Lion's Daughter Skin Show on rare white vinyl but it costs over 70$ on Season of Mist's website lol. Like yourself, I'm caught in this dilemma between needing food and needing more vinyls.

I plan to get a boatload of vinyl this chrismas since I haven't been buying much recentle.

I just got a pretty cool haul recently. I picked up the shadow of no light box set, put out through profound lore. It’s got eight of the original leviathan demos remastered. I picked up the new Grand Belial’s Key album on see through red. I got energy by operation ivy, which is a classic ska/hardcore/punk album I grew up on. I picked up the decline by NOFX. I got Endless Pilgrimage by Grave Miasma. I finally got starspawn by Blood Incantation, and last but not least I got a test pressing of Knelt Rote’s alterity, which I’m stoked about because knelt rote is by far my favorite blackened death grind band.

Ooh, I also have that Metallica EP on Cassette. Yeah for some reason you can find cassette tapes pretty easy here in Victoria, in fact my music machine not only plays vinyl and CDs but also has a cassette player, so I've got a pretty substantial Cassette tape collection, sadly I don't think they all work, but oh well. Don't think I have anything new to report on the Vinyl front, I'm thinking of holding off on getting more until I have a proper storage system for them.

I have a decent final Christmas haul on the way. As a Christmas present to myself. Due to buying Christmas presents before it becomes fucking ridiculously busy, doing homework, having to work on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday then having to help my mom, Nana in getting their trees and ornaments. Alcest is goated, getting all their albums is a Chad move. Love the Way of all Flesh and most of Gojira tbh. Botch is one of the kings of Metalcore for a reason. Both Good Slayer and Testament records. I guess I’ll spoil my new haul. The haul includes some Anathema, SZA, Dillinger Escape Plan, Morbid Angel, Gentle Giant and Ahab in my order.

Dude, that’s awesome! I’m still looking for a good deal on The Way of All Flesh, I have From Mars to Sirius so now I just need to complete the set. My collection has grown a lot this year. I also have a ton more metal records now, and I have some releases pre-ordered for next year. Yesterday I bought a Sufjan Stevens album and Blood Mountain by Mastodon from my local record store. Great place, they have amazing customer service, massive selection from every genre (puts Target and other big corporations to shame), they’re queer allies, and they frequently promote our local extreme metal scene with in-store signings and stuff. Love those guys! Go small business!

Good pick with Turnstile, I see it online for $40 which is more than I'm willing to pay. I have all the Alcest albums including the EP and the much under appreciated Shelter. I also have all the Artificial Brain vinyls, way better than Imperial Triumphant and the new Blut Aus Nord albums this year. it's just a more enjoyable listen. IMO

I don't collect vinyl since I don't have a record player, but I do collect CDs (personal preference, I just like CDs more, anyways.) I just ordered the album Screen Violence released last year by Scottish synthpop and indie pop band CHVRCHES from their website. (I love Lauren Mayberry! 😍💕❤️) As for metal albums, I'm thinking about also buying the Inceste EP from Imperial Triumphant (2016) and Artificial Brain's self-titled album from this year.

I recently got The Blessed Hellride by Black Label Society. I will be seeing them in the New Year with Anthrax and Exodus.
