I'm a sucker for old school country song titles myself! I have the Cocteau Twins comp Stars and Topsoil, and Pearly Dewdrops Drop is the track that hooked me back in the day. I saw the Sugarcubes live at a small club here in New Haven CT right when Life's Too Good was released in 1988. Amazing. Have seen Ricki Lee Jones in same club setup as well. I appreciate you taking the time to make the video, and the plug on my behalf. All about having fun. Kudos on that ' Thread within a Thread' call out! I'll probably do a Part 2 down the road as well. Awesome video! Very cool you put some country artists in here. Lot of cool picks in here but Pretenders are the winner for me. Nice to see Patty make an appearance. I’ve seen Sarah a couple of times. She likes ice cream.

Those early Pretenders albums were great. It’s always nice to see see some classic country artists like Loretta Lynn and Connie Smith. I have a Sugarcubes album but haven’t picked up a Bjork album yet.

Great cross section of artists. Cocteau Twins deserve way more love than they get in the VC. Those first 3 Pretenders albums are awesome. Love the Sugarcubes. I need to find Life’s Too Good on vinyl. Did David Gilmour play on or produce that Kate Bush album?

Hi JT, A lot of the Chameleons stuff has been reissued for a reasonable price. They actually only did the 3 original studio albums! One of my favorites.
