I disagree with you, the student does sound excellent and is well prepared! Kashkashkian just has such a large resonate sound and helps guide the ear with excellent direction.
Maybe what you were expecting to learn is way below the level that you see here. She is also not in a performer role here so the focus is different, she is a high level teacher.
