Dude i love mclaren mids an highs those are so dope !! An all your custom 12" wow those eat some power ! I use to own a jeep right around the same year as that one you have, i just couldn't imagine all that bass pressure . Must be an experience .

How did come up with your ratio? I've built several 4th orders over the years but no 6ths. Was there still efficiency to gain with 1.25:1 or was it done for bandwidth? I'm a local Nor-cal basshead that is toying with getting back into the competition scene. I may see you out in Sac this weekend, hoping to hear the jeep.

That certainly seemed like it was hitting even louder than the SPL meter was saying!... At what frequency does this setup hit hardest at?... If you keep this setup in that old Cherokee it's gonna rip the doors or windshield right off of that thing! LOL!
+JoeJ8282 Sealed up its a decent score but soon as I open up a door or the windows she wakes up. Got it up to 156.2db at 25hz sealed. On music with a door open it does about 158db around 35hz-45hz. Still needs more power so I’m sure it’s got a 60 in it on music. Id it hurts the most at 40hz, I cant sit in it sometimes hahah. Already got a spare set of doors waiting for it!
For sure. Please meter it before and after if you do put a stripper pole in there. Bet he''l gin a half db with brace and I bet he is losing a full db from the doors. Don't know what he can do about the doors.
Huge difference, the 2 18's build was louder on the meter but could not keep up on music classes or demoing. The 6 12's (now on more power than in this video) take on power better and the 6th order enclosure sounds much better. I can do music classes and demos much better now. Think the best music run with the 18s was 158-159db for 1min on 20kw, these do 160-161 for near 5 min on 15k and at a lower freq. Main thing is having more coils to spread power over.

Getting to ride and enjoy your hard work is much better than just solely chasing numbers . I've never built a system on that level so I didn't quite understand. Thanks for the vids and you done an awesome job on that beast.
@@JeepAndBass can't say that I blame you for wanting to compete in multiple classes either. That's a huge chunk of money, not to mention all the work put into that thing. I could see where driving hours at a time to compete and be limited on your play time would suck.
Gotta get some bolts though them doors into the B pillars doors are flapping in the breeze loosing a couple dbs cause of it my car used to do a 153 with flapping doors 156.3 if i had the crew push the doors intight during a burp
So its able to be on a stock alternator because of the batteries? Do you have to manually charge up the batteries? Also can you tell us what your box is tuned to????
This thing probably drains those batteries in 2 minutes. Whenever the car is turned on power is taken directly from the alternator basically and the batteries are used as a reserve. Any build with more than 4 subs you can guarantee a HO alt.
Damn those doors are so done hahaga. Stay away from them cus they will throw ur ass to tge ground lol. Do those 3.5ks have phase adjust? Id love to have the satisfaction of knowing they are all in phase. If not the dcs should all be pretty damn close to begin with.
JeepAndBass have you phase adjusted them with a ocillascope or anything? If u get them all dead on u might gain .5db I love how this system has some range. So weird to see the air velocity pretty dam consistant from 20-40hz lol
I do want to get an oscope on it. I know there are gains to be made. I plan on getting 6 amps in there so kinda going to wait until I have everything to do a full tune.
thats nasty flex i cant even imagine driving like that i pound mine full tilt everywhere i go mine got little flex and some stuff comes loose that looks like its breakin stuff i dnt think i could handle that

yes check some professional audio subwoofers out they dont make that much wind at all cause they can reach the same decibels outside but with less wind
