I have a question. In what you are explaining here explains something that I've seen in CT scans of some of the violins that were scanned. I've never heard anybody point this out or ever talk about it. What you were explaining here is this the explanation of the arch in the seat belt section, where I've noticed that both plates must have been carved the same way oh, what I mean is the arch inside is off center to one side, what I have noticed is that if the top plate in the back plate were carved off center slightly when they're on the ribs that those arches are offset from each other. I have noticed this on some of the violins in the CT scans, which obviously has a center point in between the arch Heights up the top plate and bottom plate. Is this what you were explaining here to where the vibrations in the sound reflect back between the top plate in the bottom plates?
