I’ve been diagnosed with a brain tumor, I’ve been a Vipassana mediator for a long time & im so grateful to have found this recording, really helps me focus on the sensations of raising & sizing, your voice is calming & stable
This was kind of a Vipassana / yoga nidra meditation but I enjoyed it very much! In the middle of this meditation I realized my marriage is a sham, my wife treats me like trash, and I need to leave. Thanks for the insight 👍
WOW. I made it through the whole hour. When you said open your eyes at the end I had a moment where I couldn't. This is my first time and my first whole hour. Thank you.
It's a natural one a truthful one😮😮 my own personal experienced vipasana is a gain No medication drugs side effect don't be a victim .keep. on Meditation AWARENESS.and WITHIN STRENTH FOR SURE.😂
The BEST guided vipassana on YT agreed! Did a self designed course this past week and on Vipassana Day realized to my knowledge Goenka does not have a thorough "intro" level guided meditation (that describes in detail all the possible sensations and body parts) anywhere to be found on the interwebs! Got this in a panic and it saved me from floating in a murky sea of "thinking I remembered how to do it right" and going only off of Goenka's old student recordings. THANK YOU! I used this until I was ready for less instruction.
So amazing to hear this, thank you for your feedback! I’m glad students are finding this useful in different scenarios and circumstances in their lives. Keep practicing like this and you’ll go far 🙂🙏🏼
Thank you! Sometimes I change positions but I'm having the most deep meditations it only took 20 minutes today or 21 minutes yesterday 39 to 40 minutes caught myself snoring but I was going so deep healing meditation thank you most of the time my focus on my breath are you still dealing with lingering covid-19 symptoms since last February but I could feel the healing happening already it's specific meditation and this is one of my favorite ones almost have to stop myself from going to full hour because I get deep I don't have a guru or a teacher but I can get deep
That’s so great to hear! Don’t get scared to go deeper though, it’s just a natural reaction of the mind and body when you make progress. Watch the situation with clarity and equanimity - you will be ok =)
This is one of the best meditation commentaries I have ever come across in the last 12y of my meditation practice. Humbly I express my gratitude to the creators of this.
Thank you so much for this guide, I feel so much better... will keep this as a daily practice until I can find my own True Knowledge. Piece and Wisdom be with all beings!!!!
I am so much grateful. I have become truthful about me.I have become able to get distanced from the non permanent things.I am feeling becoming aware and aware.
Thank you, your voice is Vry cool and peaceful, this is the first time I control my self four one hr without asking myself and observing my sensations,Thanks ,may you bless with peace, happiness and gud health.
Very articulated and inteletualy coordinated presentation of Lord Buddha's original technique of calming our mind thru our breathing and based on science. No fiction or amazination. Thank you so much for this very unique masterpiece. Like you said try it again and again and I do. Thanks.
For me, Life is a gift in every sense of the word. It provides us with what we need at the right moment. This meditation was the gift I was needing today. The tone of voice, the word, the pace, the timing. I thank the Universe God Ala Buddha. Mayu, from San Diego, CA.
I can't tell you how grateful I am from the bottom of my soul for your meditation videos. Literally transformed my life. Out here in California appreciating you and meditating and accepting the moment as it is :-) lots of love.
So encouraging to read messages like this and to see the impact 🙂 You transformed your own life by showing up and practicing diligently! Keep it up and spread your peace 🙏🏼
Firstly thanks a ton for uploading such beautiful, precisely correct vipassana guided meditations for various periods of time from 5 mins to thirty minutes and then directly to one hour. May I request you to make one video for 45-50 mins for the benefit of all.
Thanks a lot. I have done Vipaasna 5 to times. This is so useful to continue the practice and grateful to your guidance in practicing it. Appreciate the care and compassion.
I practice with you each morning and do the thirty minute sit fir ‘troubled minds’ as I deal with my cancer treatment. You are so calming and give me so much that I can never thank you enough with Metta ❤
I really enjoy the longer sit. Thanks. I hope you will understand when I say my favourite part is the space between the words, the words provide structure and guidance, the space between the words allows me to experience the guidance more deeply. Many thanks.
Hi, me too solving naturally breast cancer through dialog with my heart. This Vipassana meditation helping me in it , thank you. After meeting some entities in the soul, I work on excepting them with another, Hooponono meditation.
First Vipassana session I have done. I feel full of Silence and full of the absence of Anything. This is our true state, and we do not feel this because every moment of our waking hour we fill our minds with sensory inputs from the waking world.
@@canyouzen Cant believe its been a year now. At 41:43 first time Ive actually got scared lmao.I had a total no self moment but I could still hear your voice and the timing was wild.Subbed
I loved this, perfect! I enjoy a change once in a while from Goenka's instructions, and when I am particularly 'agitated' having your more detailed guidance is spot on to strengthen concentration, I will use this often - much metta thank you kindly! side note love the accent too hehe
hi I am just starting this meditation (and really liking it) but haven't been able to attend a retreat due to covid. When you say change from Goenkas instructions, do you mean its a different style of vipassna, or just the accent/way its spoken is different. thanks
l am so grateful to have discovered this module for one hour practice which further clarifies and reinforces the Vipassana tradition as elaborated by Guru Goenka..🙏
I sat for 50 minutes Edit 2day : i did 1hour 3day: did for 1hour (so far I’m aware that everything is not permanent, I felt pain while meditation but after some time pain changes and new sensations arise, even when it comes to the sensations thats kinda feels good, they pass away as well i try to watch and feel these sensations and try not to hang in it,just know that it is there and accepting it).
I am practicing Vipassana for 8 years (not regularly). I did 10 days Vipassana course in Buddhanilkantha (it’s located in kathmandu, Nepal). The way you have taught is amazing. Thank you for your well guidance.
This is really amazing. I did vipassana and I follow this recording over original from guru goenka. One request, please make one more recording purely from anapana . And maintain Atleast 5 min of silence between your instructions, as we get time to focus and when we get distracted you will be again guiding us to focus on breathing. That will be amazing. Please do it.
I'm glad you find it helpful 🙂 it was made to accompany his instructions. A guided anapana only sit will be coming in the next couple days! Thank you for the feedback 🙏
I simply love this form of guided vipassana. Your instructions help to gently sink in step by step in the meditation. helps me in my focus over & above Goenkaji’s meditation that creates the inner purity & atmosphere. Thanks and much metta to you and fellow Vipassi .🙏
Thank you for this wonderful exceptional experience that makes me feel brand new putting a positive prospective on living a peaceful pleasant life once again not dwelling on negativity. Now I’m looking forward to everyday day of meditation with your video. I am grateful to have found a deep warm comfortable and meaningful meditation. ❤
First Vipassana meditation. First pleasant Ozzie voice. Going to the course in October. This will be my daily practice. Thank you for making this. It’s really nice.
today i sat for a longer time , after 1 scan , i observed predominant experiences in the body while switching between breath and body. it became really interesting subtle sensations kept rising and falling constantly (in my chest and arms ) like with each and every breath for a while . This usually does not happen part by part with a narrow focus.....It feels like I am digging in deeper . Will keep on going . Thank you!!!
Good stuff 🙂 it's a culmination of all your great work, especially your narrow part by part scanning. We have to switch between the two to keep the mind engaged. Try not to, however, crave for any special subtle sensations, as this will slow your progress. Just accept whatever experience arises, exactly as it is. Experiencing subtle sensations in many areas can be fun and exhilarating, but getting attached to this experience will only hurt you in the long run. Hope this helps! 🙏
I was looking for a change in my practice and chanced upon your video after a long time I could do a full one hr , completely resonating with your calm voice and remaining true to Vippassana technique - Much gratitude to sharing this and helping souls like us strengthen our practice - Metta and love
I have been doing meditation for more than 10 yrs. Still everytime I started over again. I have been doing many retraites with buddhist monks and nuns as well. Somehow meditation is not relaxing. On the contrary, Im tired from bringing back all the time my chattered mind to my breathing. Any advices are welcome.
Hi - are you practicing daily? Everyone is different and if your mind is very busy like this I would say you absolutely must practice in the morning for 1 hour and in the evening for minimum 30 minutes, everyday. Start with my video on anapana to calm the mind then switch to Vipassana once you feel more steady. Best wishes 🙏
I don't know who did this version, but it's perfect. Your voice reminds me of Andy Puddicombe, whose meditations I started out with. Vipassana is indeed a blessing 🙏 May all be blessed, love from India ❤️
bodhisattva simplified meaning: someone who’s made a resolution to reach enlightenment (in some schools of buddhism with the purpose of helping others reach it too)
You're very welcome ☺️ remember you are your own master, I only nudge you to what you already know. Any progress you see is a result of your effort and diligence alone 🙏
Thank you so much for your guided meditation videos. I am contacting you to practice with the help of these videos. I am now interested in attending 10d vipasana meditation course. You helped me so much , I can't just say thanks .. u r my guide n guru .
Don’t do a 10day Vipassana retreat. Lol, I’m jk, you and everyone else should do it. Its the best for the mind because you are isolated from the rush and bs of everyday life. Try it out.
my first time doing this was just now and I got to 55 minutes. Kind of disappointed I got so far just to stop but hopefully next time(tomorrow) I'll get the full hour.
Your guidence during session was awesome really.... i m new or god knows why my eyes opened themselves 5 minutes before end of session and also i have thoughts during scanning and i get mixed with past or future what to do in both these situations help please and thank you once again ❤
Don't even worry about this, it happens to everyone! No problem, just come back to your breathing if you are having many thoughts, and don't worry about what kind of thoughts they are. Just keep coming back to the present moment, patiently, and persistently.
Bro the instructions in this are so good. Did you write it all or is it a collection of words from other teachers? The transcript of this could be a book
Thank you! It is mostly from my own experience and interpretation of what I've learnt, with the main inspiration from Vipassana as taught by SN Goenka. However, there is also inspiration from many different teachers so it's inevitable that their teachings also come out through this practice.
If you can do it morning and evening, that is ideal but don't get frustrated if you can't keep it up. You might be lacking actual sleep if you get tired in the evening and you also might be subjecting yourself to quite a bit of stress during the day. Try become aware of this and adjust your habits accordingly. Good luck 🙏
