Yes, I have owned countless mice including a gpx superlight and i can say it is up to par with the top tier mice not to mention its very cheap price and even if its wired it has a good cable pairing it up with a bungee. You can buy it for Php 900 ($17 USD) which is a huge steal.
The Viper Mini was my main for a while (until very recently) and it’s a great mouse, especially for the price in the US. Besides the pos and negs you said, it’s build quality is really solid (like when compared to the Model O-). Amazon/Best Buy had the Orochi v2 for $28 so I couldn’t pass that up and it’s an amazing mouse especially for that price. Rumors are a Viper Mini Wireless are to be one of the next mice that Razer is going to release so I’m looking forward to that. They’re going to do something special to it instead of just releasing a wireless version of the Viper Mini so that may be even more interesting to see what they come up with
Yeah I picked up an Orochi v2 as well when it’s dropped in price to about $25, great pickup great mouse! I saw the Reddit thread on the viper mini wireless from one of the Razer developers and sounds like it’ll be a good mouse can’t wait!
LOD issue is solved by adding a extra mouse skate i.e corepads to increase the height which significantly reduces it, not to mention if your mouse has dpi deviation it possible could fix it (my 800 dpi is fixed from this)
The LOD can be easily fixed by sanding down the ring around the sensor then applying electric tape which basically makes LOD inexistent. I use a moded gpx now but I did that to three of the razsr viper mini I moded and it worked out great every time. I still keep my viper mini along the gpx because the viper mini is my all time favourite. Wish it was wireless though
Great info man! This may be something I do myself, agreed love the VM, couple leaks dropped on the VM when the VUV2 was getting leaked so we may be getting the mini sooner than we think! Hopefully this year
@@techvice7428 I've modded a rvu down to 61 grams 2 weeks before the viper ultimate v2 released. Bad luck haha. If you want you can check my channel, I have a RU-vid Short of the viper mini so you can see how it looks with the bottom sanded down and the electrical tape mod. Cheers!
I'm using G102 Prodigy almost about 5 years now, It still in awesome shape, I haven't modded it and not deciding to. Even now, it have been great for me. I had no problems at all ( Still using it till this day ). I don't know if I should invest on Viper Mini
G102 is a great mouse! Viper Mini on Amazon US is currently $21 so I think for that price it could be worth the investment but more than $40 and I probably wouldn’t.
Using this mouse since 2020 and these are the problems I'm encountering: -Mouse scroll is not functioning well, when using scroll up it sometimes scroll down or vice-versa -Mouse scroll button is also not functioning well, I need to hardly press the scroll button to work (it is first to wear down instead of main buttons right and left click.)
i have a viper mini rn but have been wanting to try a wireless mouse and ive been thinking of getting the viper v2 pro. yall think i should upgrade to the viper v2 pro?
Im currently testing the viper v2 pro, its a really nice mouse and if you enjoy the viper mini but want a upgrade spec wise and wireless and dont mind the size increase I would go for it! I do think the Superlight is better for claw grip but the V2 por fingertip is grat and its pretty good for claw
I've noticed with my transition to the viper mini to the v2 pro, it lacked the hump and support that the mini had. After a few days I returned it and got the superlight instead. If you really care about the shape I do not recommend buying the v2 pro.
There are rumors that the Viper Mini Wireless will be released relatively soon. It sounds as if they are going to do something “special” with it (like maybe a special body material like Magnesium alloy) which would make it more expensive than just a regular VMW. If you can wait, I’d just hold off until then
@@egonpax Yeah they're not holding off on hardware with it just cause it's mini, which is very cool. I just hope that it doesn't push the price to something like the superlight or viper ultimate.
im thinking of buying tyhis mouse . but my fear is its such a old mouse. i dont want to get a old product that might has issues . i dont know if they still make new vi-per mini or am i buying a really old one that was made long long time ago.
