VIPKid vs GoGoKid: an honest comparison. 

Great video! I started with VIPKid 4 years ago and I did GoGoKid for a couple years too. I agree with all of the comparisons! Even down to the Gogokid lessons. I loved being able to extend the simple lessons!

Welp... Here I am - applying to Gogo Kid as we stand. I applied to Magic Ears and did my demo lesson last week... failed - for reasons I almost felt were not necessarily bonafide. Left a bad taste in my mouth with the whole experience. I've heard a lot of frustration with Vip Kid, so I'm looking for other companies. Thank you for doing this. This is the video I needed. Applying to GoGo as I'm listening to this video. THANK YOU!!

Yes!! I tend to expand my lesson with GGK and I enjoy it! I love the music there too, super duper catchy and the platform is very interactive. I also like hiding the student behind me and ask “where did _ go?!” And they start laughing. 😂 I also don’t feel like I’m rushing with GGK. Right now I’ve been focusing on GGK and Magic Ears. Loved this video!

Surprised! I definitely thought you were going to say VIPKID. I actually get paid more with VIPKID.

I'm still in the application process with Vipkid and will probably stick with them until I get comfortable enough to apply to other companies. I thought I came across a video that said GoGokid isn't good for travelling teachers. that you are required to be actively living in the US or Canada. Do you know if that's the case?

I am looking for information on how flexible these online companies are with work hours and schedules. I work full time but really want to start teaching English again! I'm leaning more towards either VIPKid or GoGoKid but does anyone else know any companies that are the most flexible in terms of hours, cancelations, and not have a minimum hour requirement each week (or at least a very low requirement). Thank you!
