Sorry that I have been away for over a year. I have still been riding and having adventures. Here is a short update of how things are looking (and sounding) ;)
My beautiful Virago was stolen soon after making this video. I'll make a vlog about it and the crash with my next bike after that. Subscribe for news of that FUN episode!
I'm sure I've accounted for approx 20k of the views, this sounds absolutely bang on! Looking to do my big bike license in the next month or so and get myself on an XV or VN mainly for the noise!
Thanks RustyR! You should get one :P It is an excellent beginner bike after a 125cc. I was never a Harley fan but after having this bike for 3 years I have really grown to like it. It is like a Harley but the important thing is that it has Japanese reliability ;) Will be making some more vids soon so pop back to my channel soon :)
I was lucky enough to pick them up a little cheaper than usual. I had to replace my original stock system as it had corroded so badly and the MOT was due.
evrios McDouglas But I REALLY recommend them! I made no changes or adjustments to the carbs at all. simply took the old ones off and bolted the new ones on :D
@@RoadFishUK no way, really? My stock exhausts on my xv535 have rusted like hell from a mere month in the garage, after I kept them pristine for a good couple of years (as did the previous owners for the past 30 years). I didn't realise there was lots of salt from the road all over my bike from January time, and it corroded like crazy in just a few weeks of being unused. The back burner box scrotum looking thing rusted so much it's got a hole in it, although, that hole causes an awesome raspberry-blowing noise when I rev.
@RoadFishUK Hey, watching these made me get a Virago. What handlebars are those? Look real nice. Did you have any trouble with the cables and hoses, and does it hit the tank when turning? Also have you had any trouble with the exhaust being too loud? (Police/MOTs etc). Is it still running nicely with those pipes, and did you have to re-jet the carbs?
