She isn't talking about completely filtering it out. Stop talking like a kid. You know well what she means. There are concealers that don't crease or creases less And here she especially wanted to point out some very popular ones that don't work for her under eyes. That's it.
@@chandreyeedas1033 I’m not talking like a kid so you can shut up and don’t know what to tell you I was just saying my opinion to the other person so what do you expect?
the hourglass one is actually so so good!! maybe you’re putting on too much product, you really don’t need a lot, and you don’t need to bake, instead just set it because it actually drys matte!!
I agree! The hourglass can get pretty drying if you don't apply it properly. I have to end it and use my hands for a seamless look. It also creases on me a few times throughout the day. But the coverage and the skin match are so good that I kept it. I pretty much tried 60% of the concealers she has in the video lol I'll try using just a brush to set it, although I don't bake.
This, and the other short on concealers you do recommend, confirms that I should listen to your recommendations. You named exactly my favorites and least favorites in the right category :)
I love the Kosas concealer’s range (one of the only concealers with olive shades, 3.2 O is my perfect summer shade) but it’s way too hydrating for my oily skin 😭
I hate hate haaaaate maybelline age rewind concealer, i bought it and never used it again, as much as i tried to love it, it doesn’t cover shit and looks patchy and sitting on my skin
I love the Kosas one, I literally stopped wearing concealer for years bc all of them creased or caked under my eyes and the Kosas one made me a concealer girly again
I love the tarte. Its fot such good coverage and it doesnt crease under my eyes at all! Ive never bought a brand twice but for my shape tape I could not resist!!
I didn’t hear anyone talking about benefit boing bright on under eyes concealer ,it’s really good serum like light weight decent coverage, doesn’t crease or move after 8+ hours on my oily skin ,i only use that under my eyes i have bit discoloration my shade is melon corrects and makes my under eyes awake and bright ,recommend to anyone who have discolored under eyes because skin /lighter concealer shades would not cover the darkness
Yup, like other said. Reminder: if it doesn't work on her doesn't mean it won't on you. I got tower 28 on her recom and it is soooooo dang dry on my under eyes omg. And I even paid extra to get it sent to me from USA to UK. No longer getting stuff on influencer recommendations
I fucking hate the Kosas concealer I do not understand the hype. I work at Sephora, every person who I put this on looks cakey and grabbing onto lines it’s horrible
Lancôme Serum Concelear is my new fave lots such an incredible product for dry skin and melts into the skin like butter! I hated Saie, Tarte, Hourglass, Kosas, Chanel, Dior. OMG my money has been spent seriously at Sephora and Ulta!😵💫
Morgan, you need to try the Live Tinted concealer! It’s a full coverage serum concealer that does NOT crease and has the most flawless coverage! And it’s only $26 🧡
I’ve never understood holiday decor and always thought it was just very weird… to be fair I’m not big on holidays to begin with, i don’t celebrate most of them and mostly just appreciate the time off to relax, but regardless of my person opinions i just feel like it’s one day of the year you’d use it (for me only if i have ppl over) n then store it away for the rest of the year… i like my year round decor idk why I’d wanna change it all for a day or a few weeks n then put it all back up not to mention the space storing everything takes when you don’t have much to begin with… idk everything abt holiday decor is performative n a way for companies to profit off us. If it genuinely makes u happy to change ur decor with the holidays n seasons throughout the year then by all means go at it, i just personally feel like it’s a waste of space and money and something we’ve been manipulated into thinking we need…
I agree I've tried most of them just cause of socail media said they were good and I didn't like them😭✋️ The hourglass creases wayyy more then all my other concealers to like BAD💀
I bought the Kosas concealer because of the all the hype about it and hated it. Too yellow and dry. It emphasized my fine lines. I’ll stick to my go to Nars concealer
So people have access to looking at the listing lol. Trust me, a lot of people ask a million times over where to find products if they're mentioned to any capacity and complain if there aren't links
The main reason for cakey concealer is because you're putting it on the middle part of your undereyes when you don't really need a lot there. Just put a little on the inner corner of your eye and the outer corner as a little stripe and it shouldn't look cakey then.
I LOVE my merit one for discoloration around the mouth, cheeks, etc. I don’t think it’s best for under eye circles Not into kosas either tho, too liquidy
Different things work for different people. Just because she doesn’t like it doesn’t mean it won’t work for someone else. So I guess she can still make money off of it even if she doesn’t like it! 🤷🏽♀️ I do appreciate her being honest and not just saying she likes it just because she gets a commission. It’s up to you now! ❤
I really liked it. And one tube lasted me over a year. But I then switched to L'Oréal infallible and found it was super close in its performance and I get that for like £4
I love shape tape! I have tried sooo many concealers and is the only one that I trust if I need a concealer to last me the whole day and for special events. I have very dark circles and hollows and I put a small amount only in the hollows of my under-eye (small amount will cover a lot!) and set it with a very small amount of loose powder and last the whole day without creasing on me. Obviously, concealers are very personal and they work for some people and not for others, but I think some of the people that say that shape tape is heavy and cakey is because they simply use too much. 😅
I’ve given shape tape so many tries but it really just doesn’t work well on my skin. Always leaves a cakey/dry look on my face also creases. If you want something similar and don’t want to waste the money elf camo concealer is a good dupe
Everyone’s skin and chemistry is different therefore every product will be different on everyone. I’ll never understand why people worship “influencers” words or product recommendations as life. Seriously y’all get your own life and figure out what works best for YOU.
she's just reviewing the concealers based on how it worked for her skin, people with dry skin will love the dewy concealers and visa versa. basically, just test them out in store (using the disposable applicators, of course), wait a few minutes, and see which ones you like! tl;dr: try out concealers in store to see which ones are compatible with your skin.
