HE IS AMAZING!!! As CEO of my SMALL business I couldn't imagine handing one of my employees that has never missed a day of work for 27 YEARS a gift like that.. That is shameful! Not for him or the manager but the CEO(s)!!!!!!! All that hard work and dedication to their company. They could've gave him a bonus, vacation, something! All his daughter wanted was plane tickets for him to see his family. That's not even 1% from the CEOs pockets. These are people who get up and go to work everyday that literally MAKE YOUR COMPANY WORK while you can go vacay on a yacht. But God saw fit what was right for him! The fact HMS replied with those words really shows how dissociated these companies are from reality. They pretty much said "giving a bag of Reese's and a gift cup for someone who worked 30 years for us captures the essence of our company's values."

Kevin is a real example of being humble. He seems like a very solid and caring human being and it shows in his daughter and grandkids. Just nice to know this exists; especially in a world where so much devastation,violence, hatred and mental duress is happening.

All these young men who won't work if you gave them a job, make babies everywhere with their pants hanging down, shooting and killing innocent people should look up to this man and take a page from his hard working life for being the awesome hardworking father/grandfather he is... He reminds me of my hard working daddy (who past away 11 yrs ago); my dear sweet daddy worked two jobs at times to keep a roof over his wife and his 7 children's head which he did... We never knew a hungry day, we went to school everyday, church every Sunday, we had clean clothes on our backs, food in our stomachs and lots of love love love from both of our awesome loving parents who raised us in Harlem, NY in the 70s & 80s :):):)

If I ran that company, I would've known about this employee long ago, and seeing that he knows how to do all the positions there, I would have him travel to different restaurants that I was opening, and have him assist the Managers in training the new staff. Of course a hefty raise in pay, all expenses paid, etc., would be called for, there would be no one better I could think as a Trainer than this man.

We often hear the word "Hero" thrown around very loosely, but this guy is a true definition of that word. I, for myself, missed 8 days of work last year alone. This guy has been doing it for 27 years, and not a day. People like him need to be rewarded, and the biggest reward that could be done for this guy, is to really reward him in private.

I’m crying because I’m so happy for this man who took care of his family all their life. It was a beautiful gesture made by his daughter to want to give back to him for all the love and dedication. Look how many want to give back as well. Very touching story. Side note- shame on the host for not giving up her seat to the little girls. The studio staff was unprepared knowing there were four individuals about to walk in and left them standing. Smh.

Although, it's rather insulting and shameful to give an adult who's dedicated half of their life of service in such a loyal and devoted way, I forsee that the outpouring of donations and gifts will put this humble and highly appreciative man in a position of an early retirement....
