I'm not from an Island but I've visited my dad's country Haiti since I was a kid and anytime we would go to our beach house we would pay a local kid to climb a coconut tree and get us some coconuts. We would drink the juice all the time to the point now I cannot STAND coconuts. Still it was beautiful drinking fresh coconut water on a beautiful tropical beach. Best days of my life.

Get a green coconut with water in it. And cut it open in your house. Then use the water. Do you not have coconut trees where you live ?
