Well done Rohit & Co. As an Indian cricket follower for last 42 years, seeing the likes of Kapils and Dhonis lifting ICC cups, this T20 World cup win after 17 years was long time due and duly appreciated. But I certainly won't be going gaga because we Team India fans are deeply hurt by our recent ODI World Cup loss and not to forget two losses in WTC finals . Firstly in 2025, I would love to see Rohit/Jay Shah planting India flag in Pakistan by winning the ODI format (ICC Champions trophy) Next, hopefully we again qualify for the WTC finals and lift that Mother of trophy also. We can then start to think about 2027 ODI WCup . For God's sake, hope we can play the WTC finals in a country other than England this time
