@@dcmastermindfirst9418 If you say that is because or you are stupid or you don´t have any idea of technique. Virgil is the most advanced drummer of the world. His master of the free stroke ( the secret of tecnique ) is extreme.

@@Javi7Tron No he's not. Thomas lang is far more advanced than Donati is just with his feet. I've seen both live together and Donati could barely keep up.

So great to see this video - my drum teacher Ian Oddy introduced me to Virgil and we went to see his drum clinic at the X club in King St with Remo Belli (the man himself) .. will always remember that day. 🥁 🇦🇺

A bit late, but those aren't headphones, they're noise reducing muffs for hearing protection, he likely has in ear monitors in under those.

I 'm actually surprised that i don't like the sound coming out of these high-ends dw drums ... even more so that it's played by masters like... i find the sound a bit awkward, messy and almost poor sounding... especially the bass drum when Virgil is showing his double strokes exercice.... weird. Am i the only one here? (ps: i wanna make clear that i don't like over-processed trigger drum sounds )
