I love this guy. Virgil my hero. because of you I play better in my technique and not because of traditional grip. I've been playing traditional since I had lessons back then and found it easier to play all the rudiments in traditional style.
É muito som pra pouco índio - It is too much sound for too few indians Just a parody of a Brazilian saying. It is a compliment. Those guys are monsters, man! 😁
seems like he had trouble with the left pedal, moving forward or something. he never had trouble before or after playing double stroke rolls @200bpm, seems casual for him..
Come on bro, he played 2 & and 4 & with snare with the & a bit softer like ghost note but louder. You can even see his hand hit twice and the rebound as written the way he wanted
You get my point Vinnie. He doesn't sound bad at all, but there's a struggle to his playing that's uncommon. He's clearly uncorfortable with something.
Virgil is a good solid drummer but when it comes to heavy music i never go past Lars.... he just plays in the pocket like no other...he might not play all the fancy stuff but he is always in the pocket..
Johnny corpers.....wow.... I take you love drums yet you're mentioning Lars and Donati in a same sentence?!? They're poles apart when it comes to drumming....... "research time for you dude"
