I flew Virgin Atlantic to London some years ago. I remember that it was a very enjoyable trip - good food, attentive staff, comfortable seats. The on-board service was quite good, much better than anything I've experienced flying domestically in the United States in recent memory.

Lovely review! Reminds me of the time I flew back with Virgin Atlantic in 2007 on their 789 and 346 and found them to be one of the funner ways to cross the Atlantic when flying Economy. Nice that they, unlike on my flight did not dimm the windows

i think dimming windows were still not very popular at all then whereas now they are very common i see them in quite a lot of flights however i do sort of prefer the manula one since the pilot cant control the windows then

There’s something about biryani on planes... I had one on Emirates and it wasn’t very nice. I’ve flown Virgin Atlantic in the delights of upper class, and can honestly say they were beyond amazing. Definitely would travel them again. Great video, and it’s nice to see videos again.

The reason for the ailerons to be moving up and down, when landing is so the air resistance acts on the wings making it slow down

Virgin is the best airline. Flying economy with them is the closest you'll get to 1st class without having to pay extra for it. The food is generally pretty good, in addition to the meals they served gourmet ice cream as a snack when I flew with them & the service is top notch.

I am not sure about " closer to the 1st class " comment ,I disagree ! Lol. But ,they're very good products !! I just flew in de light class ,then premium on my way back from L.H.R.,both were excellent !!! I agree ! They are fabulous over all ! Very comfortable flights !! ✈️ The best economy seat ( De Light & Premium ,though ) experiences I've ever had !! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞

Aileron movement like that is to be expected. I would guess that you had a crosswind coming from the right side of the plane, in which case standard operating procedure would be "right stick" after touchdown...

What you would need to worry about is if the smaller inboard "high speed" aileron was moving a different direction than the outboard "low speed" aileron!!! 🤣😂🤣😂

What's the problem with taking straight aerial route to reduce travelling time instead of bow shape long path

if you do it straight you won't be able to angle the plane in time to land. pilots calculate landings and takeoffs week in advance just to make sure it goes smoothly

The bow shape is sort of an illusion because you’re looking at a flat map, when Earth is really a sphere. The flight path will look straight if you look at it on a 3D map like Google Earth might show you.
