The advert was exaggerated to invoke emotion and grab our attention. LGBTQ is more toned down irl and they’re just trying to live. Also this advert only shows snap shots to highlight the crew in a way that makes you notice it. This doesn’t show the full picture and you can’t really judge the people or the airline from a few seconds of video or conclude that they are “ill minded”. Everything is more exaggerated in the media and I think the purpose of this advert was to receive praise/recognition for promoting diversity like a lot of companies these days. You need to step outside to see that inclusivity and diversity isn’t something drastic or crazy like a “circus”.
