Pat and BRM recap the Hokies 41-20 victory over the Tulane in the Military Bowl. Capping a special season for the Hokies as they win their first bowl game since 2016.
Payne forcing the fumble at the goal line, Mose Phillips laying the wood to #5 and forcing a fumble were so old school hokie defensive plays. Shout out to Greene for his catch, and of course both TE's having great games. So excited for this upcoming season, Hokie football is relevant once again!
Billy Ray -- how does a boy from northern New Jersey not know how to properly pronounce bruschetta? It's pronounced "brew-SKET-uh". In Italian, "ch" is always pronounced as "K". 😉
I don't believe you can truly know how good a team is during this new era of Bowl games anymore. I am overjoyed for the win, but with Tulane, having so many starters out for this game and VT having almost a full roster can be deceptive. A win is a win, and I think VT will be really good next year, but I will tame my optimism a little until I see how much the new addition players have upgraded the team play.
