Again, thank you Mac baren for this informational video and many thanks for mr Per Jensen for his efforts in explaining the leaf variety and its properties, it is without doubt very highly appreciated. Kindest regards Al janabi
I just want to say, Lord Morgan is an absolute master piece. It’s brilliantly blended. It’s one of the best tobacco blends Iv ever tasted. Iv been advocating it on Facebook groups, Reddit, and leaving comments on major online retailers. The consoling, consistent bourbon taste through the whole bowl is phenomenal. It almost tastes time released. The Latakia flavor is one of the best smokiness to a Latakia Iv ever tasted. I’m comparing to hard to get “made in England” blends as well as top player American blends. It’s just perfection. It would be a travesty and injustice to you, Mac Baren, as well as the pipe smoker if this wasn’t to become a regular offering. It’s special. Very special. I wish I bought more than two tins as it’s my absolute favorite blend to date. I will be sadly rationing these two tins until I’m 80.🥂
I am with everyone else here! Pipe tobacco is very special and I love the people dedicated to the process and take the care needed so I can relax at home and enjoy it at the other end! A huge thank you to the people involved! I have tried Mac Barren tobacco Vanilla creme and Pirate Cake and both are fantastic blends! And I look forward to trying more.
Please cover an entire program on Orange Virginia. I have had a fascination and enjoyment of Orange Virginia tobacco but I can find very little about it.
By mention orange Virginia you perhaps means what many is describing as red virginia. If that is correct you should try our Capstan Original Flake which is made out of red Virginia.
I was put on to your tobacco just yesterday by a friend, because it’s much cheaper than the rolling tobacco that I have been buying for many years. This Amsterdamer Virginia Blue tobacco is quite different to what I’m used to, it is much more milder than I usually smoke and doesn’t give you the same hit to the back of your throat. My first impression that I noticed as soon as I opened the pouch, is that it has a rather unusual smell, almost smells like black tea. Not to say this is a bad thing, I could get used to it.
I bought a tin of Capstan Original Navy Cut (blue tin) just because it was a favorite of J.R.R Tolkien. Its now one of my favorites! The shop I buy it from said virginia flakes wont be around for much longer. Is this true??? Please keep Capstan in production.
i smoke their virginia blend now and i can say its pretty sweet not savory and plumish like golden virginia blend. i guess more sugar is added so taste is very mild
I was smoking american spirit , i loved it, But due to I am in stucked in Kuwait, only mac barren is available. But I tried raw and Virginia , both are quiet good, only need more quantity for light kick. Thanks for videos..
Is Isleta Pueblo the strain of Pueblo rolling tobacco from poeschel? It's the only blend strong enough for me, while mellow in the throat. I want to grow it for personal use so bad. They say that they are using "full Virginia" whatever that is. And The Isleta Pueblo is listed as a ingenious rustica. What is the strongest virginia you know? And dont say Virginia Gold. It's ridiculously weak blend harsh in the throat
