I'm interested in buying these pedals, but I'm wondering if I should choose the interceptor or flight pedals. Does your foot sometimes slip off the pedals due to no footrest or is it fine?
when you lengthen the brake springs does it make the pedal pressure greater or lesser? Very good review overall. I appreciate it being "to the point" very much.
They look nice, but also look like they cannot be adjusted in terms of overall width. So, for example someone training with a Cessna, would likely find the stance very wide (by the looks of it). What is the total distance between them? Sems odd they did not design a way to adjust that part.
the distance between the left edge of the right pedal and the right edge of the left pedal is about 10 inches. each pedal is about 5 and a quarter inches wide. i like them being wide because i have my stick going between my legs, but if i were using a side stick or desktop stick then i'd wish that the pedals were a bit narrower.
Thinking about getting these. How easy is it to go from centering(for fixed wing rudder pedals) to non centering(for heli torque pedals)? I fly both pretty regular on DCS and hope its not a big pain in the arse to switch from one to the other. Or is this even possible?
The centering spring can be attached and detached easily, but for helicopters I wouldn't recommend removing it because then the pedals will move around very easily, there is no dampener to hold it in place.
