Anyone else pop the Saturn disc into their CD players back in the day? I did, pretty frequently. So cool that you were able to do that. Don't need to buy the soundtrack, you already have it! Did it with this and Fighter's Megamix. And sometimes Sonic R...but I don't want to talk about that...>_>
Even though had virtua fighter 2 with my Saturn at the time but didn't know that you could listen to the music in a CD player guess when being really young certain things you never realise.
Sega of Japan didn't listen to Peter Moore when he told them the direction the industry was heading and decided to pull the plug on everything as a political move to stop Sega of America from effectively gaining control of the company. Here we are, 20 years later and Sega's most successful franchise is Yakuza, the exact type of game Peter Moore told them to make. Sega deserves everything that's happened to them.
@@Mitsuraga I dont get it, couldnt have they just directly recorded from the Arcade board if they stood that low and it would still sound similar to the "arcade" version? Not saying they should have used the arcade music, frankly they should have had the option for both but this on its own is way superior than the arcade version.
Look, man. I'm no technical expert. I don't know how all this stuff works or why the music needed to change. For all I know, the Saturn allowed for more complex music than the Model 1 arcade board, and the composer(s) were eager to use that to expand on the game's tunes. In any case, I agree that the arranged version of the VF1 soundtrack is overall better.
