I love the Virtua Fighter series. I feel bad for the series because it is rarely ever talked about in the fighting game community.

I wish Sega could add some story mode elements to the series...

Man VF2's character select will always be the most iconic to me, VF1's is a close second. But my FAVORITE was always VF4 Vanilla's. Gotta say tho, VF 5 Ultimate Showdown's is quickly growing on me to be one of my favorites.

Amazing stuff. The level of epic on Virtua Fighter 2 was really something. Surprising that Virtua Fighter 5 R was omitted here - or even VF2's Saturn port, which had different models on the character selection screen.

Very few fighting games manage to do an awesome selection music like vanilla VF4. The "Stand" theme is just toooooo goood

The Virtua Fighter 3 select screen music is an absolute banger but VF 1 is a close 2nd

The series would’ve 26 default fighters (excluding Dural) if Sega Japan gave AM-2 the extra budget and work force for Final Tuned (2), 5R (1), Final Showdown (2), and Ultimate Showdown (2).

VF4 Final Tuned was atrocious. And I miss the 3D models.

I never liked Virtua Fighter A friend of mine had VF4 Evolution on PS2 and we played some Battles with a another bunch of friends. I remember i was the worst Player among them cause i just couldnt deal with this games feel and speed i rather prefered Capcom vs snk 2,Soul Calibur 2 and Guilty Gear X at that time.
