#TodayILearned Mallsoft is an official subgenre (of sorts) of vaporwave. This is that mall music I've always had an odd love for, labeled for my convenience. *My music life will never be the same*
There's nothing "official" about Vaporwave. It's part of the irony. If it "feels" like Vaporwave, and it "sounds" like Vaporwave, than it might as well be "Vaporwave," for the entire "type" is itself a deconstruction of not only consumer-capitalism, but also music itself. Mallsoft is Mallsoft, a derivation of the dreamy haze of "Vaporwave." Ride the currents, friend, for nothing is to be taken as serious, and "official" is a little too serious, in my opinion, for the "genre."
@@ianian4162 this brought up a new thought in my mind. If there is nobody to differentiate official genres, then couldn't I in theory just call a song that I made [nonexistent genre name here]?
@@440hurtz4 Yes. Arbitrary distinctions like "genre" only have power for so long as we acknowledge them as valid, and a sub-culture that rejects the fundamental distinction will find a certain artistic liberation.
Here is an extended verision of the song Listen to Shining (Extended Verision) by Joel Vejsholt #np on #SoundCloud soundcloud.com/joel-vejsholt/shining-extended-verision
this mix is one of the best of yours. I praise you to make more of this food for soul. Ty EG. cheerfully, someone who is listening to your music from France for a long time.
Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be; but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is 1 John 3:2 😋🎶🧋🎶🥡🎶🍲🎶🥧 Yummy Music!
Does anyone know what is the original sample from "Stereo Component - 初デート"? This is the second song that I listen that uses that sample, the other is "Palinoia - High Heels".
