discovered this song last year on a old japanese "mtv hot songs list" a-like that i've found on youtube and apparently this song is very big on the jojo community and very popular song on japan too. I've never guess that this song will get recognized again lol.
And When he was Killed by His Long lost Brother (who's a Priest that successfuly Resets the Universe for His Vampire Boyfriend), Put His Fighting Spirit inside A Disc So a Baseball Cap Boy ⚾ 🧢 ♂️ Can Evenge him by Turning the Air into 100% Pure Oxygen.
I still remember Vanessa Carlton's 'A Thousand Miles' where she's riding her piano through the streets of New York and everyone was like "OMG how she do dat!" and I just kept thinking "it's on the back of a truck..."
I'm glad that Jamiroquia finally got more love they deserve for bringing back disco from the dead and create funky and soulful hits like _Emergency on Planet Earth,_ _Space Cowboy,_ and so on. This isn't the first time that Jamiroquia got memed before. In _Canned Heat,_ Jay Kay jumped through any walls like how Mario entered through the paintings in SM64 that someone made an edit out of it.
Jamiroquai is one of the bands that's absolutely goated, but not praised enough! Like Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Kurt Vile, Operation Ivy, Bearded Legend, QOTSA and many and many more
I love that Jamiroquai is finally getting some recognition! They're one of my favorite bands and I'm glad people can have the chance to listen to them :D
@@nathanblackburn1193 Jojo references trandscend time and space, so things that happened before jojo are still jojo references. For example, an ancient mesopotamian mural could be doing a jojo pose and that would make it a jojo reference.
@@e_s.0848 Amen, brother. Quick word tho: be careful when posting this stuff. You just so happened to reply to someone who shares your beliefs. Might not get the same reaction from other comment threads.
my entire music taste is completely decided by memes and videogames lol. Seriously I don't think I have a single normal song in my playlist, it's all from random corners of the internet.
Funny to think that the song itself is a meme of western culture in the 90's, but it strangely fits so much better today. When someone says this was ahead of its time, they had no idea by how much...
The video isn't just relevant, the music still is relevant to this day. It feels almost prophetic talking about a world going insane as information overwhelms it. It's truly the theme song for our age.
Thank you for turning more of this generation on to Jamiroquai! Back in school my weird ass collected all their early albums and wore a band shirt to school in the south. So I got a LOT of “wtf is Jamiroquai?!?” before this video came out. 😂
I’m glad to have discovered this song a few months before the Carter memes and the music video memes and I’m glad to see many people discover this amazing song and enjoy it like I did
Damn ive been listening to this song for months now, didnt even know there was memes about, its such a good song, and im glad its getting more recognition now
Me too, they are one of the best band from the 90s that everyone should know and hear about them. I also felt Persona5 soundtracks inspired on their songs.
I mostly had this video brought back to my memory because of the incredible JJBA Part 6 rendition with Weather Report, but I never saw this becoming huge meme material
THE FLOOR DID MOVE i see comments saying “its crazy they didnt move the floor” but that isnt what he says, he doesnt say everything was on wheels he says that wheels were used (to make the floor move) also watching the video, all furniture moves in one direction when it is moving and he slides around with no wheels on his shoes 1:11 relisten to what he says
Bro are u high? The furniture does not move at all, the walls do and as he said, some of the furniture is bolted to the (moving) walls, also jay kay is just walking around tf u mean wheels on his shoes
bro this music video has been surrounding me for the past few weeks. i originally saw this a while ago from jinx baloongis (tinglebug) and the image of him after never seeing the video before stuck with me. it had weird, indescribable vibes about it. more recently, i posted something about it in a discord server around the same community and someone said the song name. i ended up looking up the music video and almost everything about it perfectly matched the vibes i got from the original image. i had even more of a shock when i found out it was the original song for the 'dancing walking rearranging furniture' thing on tiktok. thats not the end tho. i became kinda hooked on this song, with the weird vibes around it and how clean the vocals were. then it played on the radio. i havent heard this song anywhere else in years, now it plays on the radio as soon as i discover it. now this. when will it end
Hunh, I remember seeing this when my video production teacher showed it to me back in 8th grade, like, over a decade ago... Good to see it blow up again for the zoomers
The song in itself is legendary honestly. It's about technological advancement and how crazy it seems even in our everchanging world. A line that always hits me is that "every woman can choose the color of her child", which is something that can genuinely happen now through sperm donations, IVF and genetic engineering, which is crazy to think about
I’ve been listening to this song a lot recently and I had no idea it was currently a meme. It’s really catchy and weirdly topical for this day and age.
i feel another reason the song is making the rounds right now is because the lyrics can relate shockingly well with the current anxiety people have with AIs and similar stuff
This is like chocolate rain, people would just ignore the main theme or meaning of these song and just make a comedic media of it, and i dont mind that.
I got recommended "Canned Heat" by Jamiroquai bass tabs around the time the meme started blowing up (before I saw that it was a meme). Honestly one of the best songs I've ever played on my bass so far.
