Virtual Line Studios in Tokyo, Japan is a film studio and recently they built an entire new virtual studio (11m x 9m) for real-time VR/AR capability powered by Reality Engine.

Sumptuously! Are you from Japan? I love you! Great technology. The only thing I'm afraid is this is probably incredibly difficult to learn. I am a producer and work myself as a cameraman. I really need this technology, but I'm afraid it's difficult. Do you have a video on how to set up your hardware and software just to work with one camera? As far as I understand, it is necessary to work with unreal engine to produce a small film? To use 3D scenes with a live actor .. I want to buy this but little information on how to work with it, how to set it up .. Step by step.

Hello Sergey! Unreal Engine knowledge is necessary yes but there are numerous tutorials on how to master UE. Good news is Reality Engine has a community version which is free for non-commercial use. Really interesting green screen cyclorama construction with curved corners but a 90 degree angle when it hits the floor. Increases usable space for actors, but any issues with the cyc mesh and obtaining the background plates? We've typically had a curve where the wall meets the floor, typically 50cm radius. Would love to hear the pros and cons with the hard angle approach ...

How are you tracking the movement of the camera? Cost of hardware?

Cameras have stYpe RedSpy tracking cameras fitted, which look up at tracking points on the ceiling of the physical volume. You can see the black cylinder with the red logo, that's the tracking camera. e.g. 2:53.

@@sybexstudio6318 We do live chroma keying hence the question. We don’t have experience on UE and we would like starting to use it but live. We have ultimatte ( 5 channels ) and having a set that follows camera movements would be the goal
