Damn, this is crazy.

unreal engine is going leaps and bounds with its integration for real time movie production. With UE5 out now and its new Nanite technology to eliminate the polycount issues is a game changer yet again.

This is amazing! It's the state I expected virtual production to be in 2019. Obviously, that is much better than what James Cameron had back in the day for Avatar. Surely they will have something as good as this on the next films..?

I want to learn the unreal engine Virtual Production, where should I start? I am a colorist & Flame finishing artist last 7 years. worked (Disney Utv, sony tv, prime focuses), etc let me know

Really, interesting I use StartTracker from Mo sys before, Is great for preview with Unreal specially with quick results and etc, down side is to get all the information for VFX work in different packages and for compositing in Nuke without loose the accurate results from the camera track , lens info and etc. to add with the raw camera date such RED, ARRI or BMC I hope they resolve this problem which I guess ye sthen can be a really good tool.

HI May I ask how you solve the rendering of the reflection and shadow of the synthesized characters in Composure

based on the quality of green screens..im a compositor for a decade now..but this clean green screens is rare very rare!!!!! and even lighting is very difficult to maintain!!!! how would it deal with motion blurs?? and hair details!!!!!!!!!!!!!
