Despite consistently working from an early age, Tom was met with hesitance from potential employers when they learned of his housing status and previous experience in the justice system. At Chrysalis, he received the job-readiness, financial, and networking support he needed to step into the next phase of his job search journey. After securing a temporary position through Chrysalis Staffing, he went on to secure a permanent position as a House Attendant at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica, CA.
