My God, I have lived this age... and I have never seen such beauty.. This is the most amazing moment of my life.. I keep coming back to watch it, watch it....💗💗💗💗💗
They are sooooo beautiful together! They just move in perfect sync. I guess it’s because they have been training for so long. Scott is very strong while Tessa follows his lead with every fiber of her body. I miss them both!
I so miss the Compulsory Dance event, it really separated the best from the rest through an apple to apple comparison. This is exactly how the Golden Waltz should be done.
This dance is absolutely joyous to watch with these skaters! Their performance shows not only the love they have for each other, but also the love of the sport. ♥️
My goodness, Scott Moir's partnering skills are to be marvelled at. The way he leads her into the elements and especially the way he sustains their rhythm on those turns. He is not only the most charismatic male ice dancer ever, I'm willing to bet he's the most charismatic figure skater ever. You can't take your eyes off him and the two of them make you see the golden waltz as though you've never seen it before. I would pay admission just to see the action of Tessa's free arm, in any dance, but today, let's pay homage to Scott.
TO CUDOWNE !!!!! Mogę oglądać wciąż i wciąż ......! 😍
I keep on watching this video of these two equally beautiful and handsome pair. Happy to see them perform so gracefully, elegantly with perfect timing. No more adjectives can I use to describe their performance. Congratulations. Keep up the good work and wish you more opportunities in your new venture in your life. To both of you remain humble as you are. You make your fans happy all these years. Stay as sweet as you are. Thank you for this video.
I miss them so much I enjoyed them on any show or competition I was able to watch. In fact I n.v miss all the ice skating shows that used to be on every year and there r no DVDs of them so sad for those of us who enjoyed them so much
Extraordinary display by Tessa and Scott , in a magnificent representation in an ice rink of a perfect ballroom dance , characteristic of an aristocratic environment of the 21st century 19. Scott and Tessa danced in a posture of relaxation and joy, in full synchronization with all the musical moments of this waltz, and in total connection between themselves. The great elegance, flexibility, lightness and great speed of Scott and Tessa's movements make this exhibition magnificent. And, it is worth highlighting the exceptional way in which Scott created great beauty in the dance of this waltz in the way he led Tessa, who in turn responded to him perfectly. It seems that Scott was a resilient and competitive athlete, who loved dancing, doing so with immense passion, and a desire to achieve excellence. Scott was competitive, and had an excellent dance partner to achieve his goals. Congratulations for your long and successful career.
When I was 16 I loved doing the Keats Foxtrot, and I was able to do one part of it by myself and got some praise from other skaters, they were like “That was awesome” or “Great job” and that made me really happy about skating on the ice like that and I loved it 🥰, after that I quit skating.😢(for other business reasons/finishing school) Now I’m almost 21 and seeing this Diamond Dance had me like 😳🤯 “HOW CAN THEY MOVE THIER FEET LIKE THAT?”
Many of the couples just skate the steps roughly to the beat of the music, but these two are right on with all of the steps! I LOVE it! I really miss the compulsory dances :( but I understand why they were done away with. Unfortunately, it also messed up the original dances! However, since I am just a spectator I no doubt don't understand the intricacies of such decisions (and no, I'm not being sarcastic). Oh well.
bandgeekforlife So true!!!...besides something that I've never seen in other ice dance teams except Tessa & Scott for the last decades.....they DANCE the elements....what a treasure!
@bandoforlife the SHORT DANCE is a fusion between the compulsory and the OD. Basically, every year, they (the officials I guess) come up with a rhythm as the theme of the competition. The couples are required to include elements from the OD (ie. step sequence, twizzle and a lift) as well as two set pattern (something resembling the compulsory). I am a pro-compulsory person, just as I support the return of the figures event in the singles competition. But short dance event DID bring a lot more
Scott looks like a million bucks in his tux & tails and Tessa is gorgeous but her dress is too subdued in color. Something brighter and they would be picture perfect! (Darn great skating ,too!)
@VWYL900802 I like your idea of having the compulsories be qualifying events. But I miss the OD. I feel like having to put the pattern dance in interrupts the flow of the SD. I'm a musician and was a dancer when I was younger, so I think that effects what I appreciate as a viewer, ie: musicality and whether the different required elements blend in smoothly with the dance as a whole or are choppy and segmented.
@VWYL900802 demand for the competitors. Honestly, if I were one of the officials, I would keep the compulsories as a qualifying event and still have the short dances around. and while I'm at it, I think they should make figures as a qualifying event as well. PS. I'm not old. I'm just a skater.
@lovewalk9 i agree with you! But unfortunately figure skating is not a very popular sport in italy, like in North America, or even in Europe, also because there is very little interest in it from the media and national television, especially, and the coverage of the events of figure skating is very poor, almost always, the events are broadcast late at night, deferred, and often only on satellite or digital terrestrial. Only the competitions during the Olympics usually are broadcast live so
@lovewalk9: And it IS the compulsories. Sorry to say, but it's just not that interesting for the viewer, though sometimes the entire event can be determined by this segment. The new short dance variant, however, might a good compromise between the compulsories and the original dance. We'll see...
couple without equal in ice dancing history: looks technical skills and artistry torvill and dean i find are too unemotional their faces rigid and did not show romance and passion many of the top russian couoples lacked technical mastery and made up for itwith over dramatics p and c lack true passion and emotion and are one note in style
