Virus Invasion Battle 

There seems to be a point that is a bit hard to understand, so I'm going to add some explanation. This concerns the direction in which the color propagates when they collide with each other. It depends not on the speed, but on the time at which the wave occurs. (By wave, I mean a chain of collisions.) In other words, new waves override the old ones. I'm not sure if I have explained well, though.

Blue was so close, but yellow rolled multiple extremely high releases in a row that overcame blue's constant regeneration tactics.

I really like how the number of virus at the board slowly increases, making release important at the end. It is also a new concept which is refreshing.

I love the detail where you shield the cannons when they are choosing what power they get so they dont get punished for doing well

Rules: There are 4 players (Lime, Blue, Red, & Yellow) Each player is provided a plinko board with a x2 & release floor. x2 - Multiplies the current number above by 2. Release - Releases the current number as virus particles to each cannon it owns. As indicated below the x2 & release floors, if the number is above 64, they will be directed to another section below after a short time with the bonus powers. These include: Surge - Creates a circular surge which boosts the virus particles away from the cannons. Super-Virus - a virus particle much more powerful than a regular one. Rocket - Launches until it meets an enemy particle, which then sends a wave into enemy territory. (These can pass through walls.) The map in the middle has corners & bends to make it harder to reach the middle, as well as dangerous blocks with a number signaling how many particles must touch it before it disappears. (When a particle touches a dangerous block, it dies.) If a virus particle touches a cannon, that cannon will convert into that team's colour and serve as a extra shooter. This also applies to enemy cannons. If you lose all of your cannons, you lose! hope this helps! :D

That one started off weird but entertaining, and then we start seeing these beautiful patterns flowing across the screen as the game kicks into overdrive. Legendary work, as always. I hope you're as good to yourself as you are to us!

Yellow was very trigger happy for the first half, and hadn't even made it to the lower part of the board before Red was overtaken by Green. It barely held off a few attacks, but then got that first 1024 and majorly turned the tides. Way to go for my favorite color!

I have no idea how viruses actually move but even so bouncing off that idea to create yet another completely unique movement style is just so cool. Also gotta love Mikan's dedication to making everything circular (besides the marbles) in their videos have the Mikan logo.

Wow! What an incredible new genre of marble battles! The emergent wave dynamics are seriously so cool to watch. To go from individual marble collisions in the beginning to the wave dynamics we see at the end, it's just so cool to see!

Red had the worst luck because his gap connected to center is easily reachable (for a reason that i don't know how to explain). Blue sometimes understood how to spread fastly around the corners, but Yellow did it much faster than Blue, and Green showed up so much endurance, specially when it was cornered by Yellow multiple times

OH MY GOD THIS IS SO GOOD i loved the the end game! how the marbles pack together and these waves form, it's ALL just so cool also the blocks in the beginning is a great addition, i _believe_ it acts as a sink for marbles to avoid the cluttering we see at the end, it's all clearly well thought through

Watching those waves in the end is just satisfying

This shit is mesmerizing to watch, and i can't help but narrate in my head like it's some kind of prime-time sportsball event.

That was remarkably cool; like a battle based exclusively on pressure waves.

I like how having too many balls soon becomes a weakness because just one ball from a foregin territory could sent massive ripples claiming lots of balls or even finishing off a color! makes things more tense with how a color could be brought down to it's knees and the next second its going super saiyan

MIKAN is definitely the marble creator of the decade, he make so many impressive marble races! If you are reading this, please say in the comments that MIKAN should make a tutorial

Interesting. One thing you could do to avoid the circles getting packed super-tight at the end (if you want to avoid that, since you may desire it for speeding up the game at the end) is to make virus particles die out after a certain number of collisions/infections.

This is my second time watching and i just realized the marbles fade to a darker color the longer they’re on the board; neat!

The order I rooted for them in ended up being the order they lost in. Initially I was rooting for red, then blue, then when it was down to just two left, I was with green.

Yellow pulling out a 512 rocket storm into a double 1024 was quite the victory- with how dense the field was getting that was anyone’s game (except Red) right up to the finish

Yellow making their grestest comeback at the drop at of the song at 9:31 was straight-up perfect timing I love it!

Blue won at least 4 times, but yellow always had that "shield" that gets when its choosing the +64 bonus. its like that kid in school that you shoot but always had a "force field".

Meh, Green came in second so I'm happy, but honestly, this one had very little way to judge who was winning since the entire map would just ripple back and forth chaotically, the other kinds of videos like this had at least some semblance of logic, where you could figure out who was winning or losing, at least roughly, and that made it way more fun when a colour made a big comeback. This one had none of that.

So when the special power up selection is active for a color all of that color's turrets become invincible for the duration of the selection and the turrets become vulnerable again once a special is chosen. This happened at several very lucky moments for Yellow, which would have lost to Blue at multiple times otherwise.
