@@khloe14crisostomo76 it is all online: e-services.immigration.gov.ph/Dashboard/Index?ReturnUrl=%2FTouristVisaExtension you can pay cash at 7-11 stores. Jennifer did a step by step online renewal video on this actually
I Jennifer, I arrived in Manila from Brisbane on Thursday, no problems, but border security in Manila did ask to see travel insurance and one health pass, everything was in order thanks to your videos. Thank you very much
Hey Jenn, after our last chat on this issue, I think your timing on going over this was awesome!! 😀 It may of been more helpful to let your viewers know that they can't schedule their initial flight for more than 30 days. Remember when when we had this chat, I think last week? You left out the part about having to pay the change fees after your arrival....maybe if you do a follow up video, you can explain that further....Thanks again for all you do...your info is totally awesome!
That was my question, too. So foreigners can buy an initial round trip ticket for total of 30 days stay, get a visa tourist extension for another 29 days, but then have to change their flights to reflect that longer stay (and pay any airline change fees)? So that is the typical process? Thanks
Hi Jen / Elliot, thanks for this info, I"m from a 30 day tourist visa waiver country (Australia) and have a trip in Jan-Feb next year that is technically 31 days, by only 2.5 hours when landing at 21:30pm (30 nights stay) I"m not so concerned about a small fine but I am concerned how long I may be held up for the International connecting flight out of Manila to leave? Are you suggesting I can't use my scheduled Airline ticket that is a couple of hours over the 30 days? Failing that I may sit in baggage area until 00:01am to clear immigration on arrival to meet 30 day window :)
Very nice very nice my gwapa friend Jen I truly need this one hehehehe salamat for keeping us your subscribers in the Loop we are truly Greatful to the Lord for your chanell and your Honesty in this regards have an awesome Adlaw with your beautiful family you Look really great in that outfit Sa Dios Love Lots
Thanks for your good advice I arrive 9th December for 33 days My girlfriend took me to immigration in Subic City and we were in there about 20 minutes and the guard was very helpful And extended for 29 more day Now I'm looking forward to returning and staying for ever Thanks again Charlie
Hello Jennifer, Thank for always helpful information. I have just a short report concerning my first 2month extension. I’m retired now living at Masbate, the easiest way to go is to Legazpi. We arrived at 4:15pm today after travel and went to the office just to have a look at the location because they close at 5 pm. They invited us to enter and asked only for the passport. After 10 minutes I had my extension and they told me to come back end of May for ACR-I card and 6 months extension. I highly recommend this office, nice officers and very quick. Just a hint: the office has transfered, it has a new address at the harbour side, in google it’s still the old one.
Thank you Jennifer!! I just arrived a few days ago from the US, and I was wondering the steps to extending my stay under EO 408. You explained it very well, and provided very useful links to the immigration office locations and costs to avail the extension(s). Happy 2023!!
I have an update for you so I just applied for my extension of 29 days here in butuan city and they offer the time of 6 months extension at this office cost of 14k I was so glad I can apply coming of the next 6 months and will be get a card as well thank you for this information it was helpful also they didn't really ask for Covid card at least I know for the next update I will lock in my 6 months stay
I am a U.S. citizen I want to travel to the Philippines for more than 30 days. Can I just buy a plane ticket for 2-3 months out and pay the extension fee when I arrive in Manila or when I leave the Philippines?
Just found this. Could not het an amswer abt visa extentios from any other vlogger. I asked.... no answer. Thanx for the info. Planning on coming im August and wamt to stay 3 or 4 months. Thanx again. Salamat kaayo.
Hello po ate, I’m currently about to board from sfo to mnl. Thank you for all the videos you made lately. They really helped me through the whole process.
Thanks Jennifer for all the updates on traveling to the Philippines. As my time to visit there in September both me and my girlfriend are excited to finally be together. As well as her children. You are doing an awesome job. Thanks again
Remember, looking like a Filipino/Filipina nor speaking the language, is not enough to claim your balikbayan status. Don't forget to bring your documents, like an old/expired Philippine passport OR authenticated Philippine birth certificate from PSA. I've seen travelers arguing with immigration personnel regarding this. It won't help. You will need your documents. They're just doing their job and following protocols. I carry both old Philippine passport and Philippine birth certificate from PSA.
Only a few BI offices give the 6-month extension. If one is married to a Filipino citizen, one can also get a 6-month extension (show marriage certificate).
Hi Jenifer. I'm a UK citizen who will arrive on 26 Sept this year. Hopefully I'll have been issued a 59 day stay visa from Embassy of Philippines in London. Now, does that mean I'm exempt from producing a ticket for onward travel?😅
Great video, thank you for such detail information. I have a question; no matter how long you extend your visa, if you leave the philippines for any reason. That visa extension is void and you will have to start over again? correct? it is a 'single entry" and what if i extend and get married and my new Ph wife and I leave the PH for Honeymoon? would I enter the Philippines under the BalikBayan Visa? in which I can then apply for 13A marriage visa while I am on the BalikBayan visa? Correct???
Hi Jenny. Here is my experience. I applied for the 29 days extension, for 3030 pesos. It took me about 3 hours. Next, I intend to apply for 3 months extension. How much will cost me this second time, please? Thanks for your services.
Please correct me if I'm wrong but you could technically restart or reset the timeframe of a Balikbayan visa by traveling to another country and coming back. You'll probably get flagged if you do this multiple times or in extremely short time intervals. I'm traveling to the Philippines in a few weeks and I plan on visiting other countries as well, I'll be giving this a shot. I'd rather pay to see another country lol than pay the BI to get an extension. Of course I will get an extension if I need to but I am also planning on traveling to a nearby Asian country. It looks like countries like Thailand is cracking on this "practice". I'm planning on getting my dual citizenship while I'm there so I might not even need to get an extension. If anyone has any experience, feel free to comment.
In theory, to be given balikbayan privilege of 1 year, the traveler must have been out of PH for at least 1 year. However, giving of BB privilege depends on the discretion of the Immigration Officer. Re: dual citizenship, You may apply for it at the Bureau of Immigration main office in Intramuros, Manila. Dual citizenship is good to have if you're a senior & intend to retire in PH (can get senior citizen benefits).
I am a Filipino naturalized American citizen living in Florida, USA. We plan to spend our vacation in May, 2023 in the Philippines with the intention to stay there in 5-6 months. Is the Balikbayan Privilege of an extended stay of up to one year still in effect as you mentioned?
Has anyone else been charged Php 25,000 for the first Balikbayan visa extension? My aunt hired an agent to go to the B.I. office and they charged her 25,000 for the service, including the B.I. application fees.
Pag nag book ng ticket at ginawang for 2 months from arrival to departure. Kasi may free entry visa then mag extend ng another 29 days. Okay lang po ba di ma question?
Hello Jen, if a US citizen has a valid/current ACR-I card do they still need an onward or return ticket for proof of leaving the Philippines at check in?
Hello Jennifer, I am still a filipina citizen who got married to an American citizen. I am travelling this coming Sept. for vacation . My question is can I avail the balikbayan visa.?
Hi Jen , I’m a Dual Citizen , this coming July uwi kami sa Pinas with my American Husband ang nabili namin ticket stay in Philippines for 50 days . Ok Lang ba yon ?
Hello Jennifer. Thank you for this. I do have a question. What if I avail of the balikbayan privilege for 12 months, then after 12 months, I leave the Philippines for one week and then come back to the Philippines. Will I receive another 12 months of Balikbayan privilege? Or is the privilege a onetime thing? If so. what category should I enter the Philippines under when I come back?
My husband apply for visa extension and we try express we get immediately!!! And next will can apply more than month or more!!! We're here in Bacolod city!!!
I am coming to visit my wife (we have applied for her visa so she can come to the USA) from Nov.18 till Jan 23 what visa do I need and do I need it before I get there?
Hi Jenn, my experience is 6 month extension is only available at the Intramoris Immigration Office. Visa Extension process is same as 30 day or 60 day extension. Sana maganda ang araw mo ngayon at God Bless kayo...
@Albert Thomas, as of two years ago I was able to get six months extensions at the BI office in Naga, Camarines Sud in the Bicol region. I won't know if this is still true for another two months.
@@GlamLux , my experience, you can apply anytime after arrival..the first extension is for 29 days. You can apply for that the next day after arrival...
Hey Jennifer , Is This "The fourteen (14)-day visa free entry may be extended by an additional seven (7) days for a maximum of twenty-one (21)-day stay." has the same process for Indian tourist aswell ? My travel is for 16 days including entry and exit dates ....
Hi Jennifer. 1 month ago I asked you a question about onward flights when I arrive on a 59 day stay visa. Im disappointed you havent replied . George Marr is my name Jennifer, Im a UK CITIZEN and I'll be flying on a 1 way ticket as I hope to obtain a Retiree Visa while Im there. Jennifer your advice will be truly appreciated. My arrival date will be 26 September this year. Many thanks. George.
Nice video, very Informative. Paano po mag- extend ang isang former Filipino citizen before the balikbayan visa expired together with foreign spouse and child? Is it individual application?
Hi JENNIFER, I’ve applied for dual citizenship here in the Philippines last year September. As of now,I’m still waiting for my certificate. My balikbayan visa expires in 3 weeks.am I considered as Filipino citizen now or do I have to extend my balikbayan visa and what’s the cost. Thanks
Hello Jennifer.. so i’m planning to stay in the philippines only about 10 months.. so i can just keep extending my stay right? .. come back to the US and stay for two months.. then go back again in the philippines and do the same thing all over again right??.. please advice.. thanks!
Sorry jen i was confused iam a former Pilipino then now holding australian passport arriving nov 28 leaving Dec 28 do i still need to apply for extension like one day only
Miss Jennifer, again thank you for this updates. Paano kung same sex, Filipino ako Tapos American citizen partner ko, makakakuha ba ng one year visa ang asawa ko? We are flying to PH in May and stay until Aug. kailangan din ba niya ng travel/medical insurance at return ticket as a requirements?? Thank you.
I noticed when I recently went to the Philippines with my family in February my arrival stamp said "stay until" with the date being exactly a year from the current date on the stamp.(I'm a Fil-Am born) Would the balikbayan program still apply to me when I travel there again later in the year by myself or would I have to apply for tourist visa / extension? Another question is that would I need to have the tourist visa before hand if I decide to apply for extensions in the Philippines?
Hi Ms. Jennifer, I am a Filipina married in the Philippines with a German national, we are here now in Germany, and after 9 months of staying here in Germany, me and my German husband will be traveling to the Philippines together this coming July 2023. Can we just process and get the 13a visa for my husband in the Philippines when we arrive there? Can my German husband enter the airplane saying we will be getting his 13a visa in the Philippine immigration near our place? I hope for your immediate response thank you very much.
Hi jen, what is valid for travel,rt pcr test or rapid test . Another question the flight departure April 4, arrival April 6 in the Philippines. The RT PCR test result is 2 days. Is that ok rt pcr test was taken April 2 and wait for 2 days result?
Hi! Thank you for very detailed info. Really help po. Question, my dad is former Filipino netizen and now British. Can he avail Balikbayan privilege without any problem in both country? Thank you in advance 😊
Hello Jennifer thank u always for the updates will there be any changes regarding accepting the vaccine from all the 157 visa free countries even it's open to the world its still ridiculously expensive to get there especially with quarantine hotel for 6 days pray there will be some changes soon that the vaccine will be recognized for all the visa free countries
Hi Jennifer! I'm going visit Philippines 59 days, I'm a Swedish citizen.. Have I do anything special before I travel to Philippines? As you know iv 30 days free and then I'm going to apply wives visa there in Philippines... But I read that flying company doesn't allow people come in ombord if there's tickets more than 30 days... That's confused me? Thanks
What about the Exit visa? Is that still a requirement if you stay longer than 6 months?? I have a flight to the US next week and I've paid for my visa extension until beyond that date. Before though Ii remember hearing about needing a special Exit Visa. Please advise Jennifer! Thanks as always.
I have a ticket for 59 days ,but can’t extend cos have to have a ticket for only 30 days, but if I had a 30 day ticket to extend but if I wanted to Extend I’d have to change my ticket which would cost me more money to change my ticket to stay. I’ve messaged you on Facebook messenger but nothing .
Hi Jennifer,I’m U.S citizen fully vaccinated if I go to Philippines do I need to bring my old Philippines passport with me and show it to immigration officers in the airport? And also do i need travel insurance too . Cool video very informative please let me know thanks 🙏
Just arrived Manila last 2 days ago and I am a foreign passport holder so I brought my old Phil. Passport even its expired just to proof I am a balikbayan and the immigration asked for it and then after I had a stamp granted to stay one year in the Philippines. 😊 So its a must to bring old Phil. Passport or Birth certificate.
ive never been asked for travel insurance. Would I need any if I'm planning to be an expat in the Philippines till I get my 13a visa when me and my fiance get married next year. I'm 23 and I would like to stay the year till we can transfer to 13A
Jenn, good day to you!

Hi Jennifer: I am married to a Phillipino but had to leave on March 2020 because of Covid. My wife is not with me so I wanted to know how long I can stay as I am finally coming back next month.
I'm an american, i want to stay in the phillippines 6 months . You say i can extend once after entry there in the Phillippines? where does one extend (office)...?"
Good day. I trust you are well. It's only mentioning former Filipinos and their foreign spouse and family under the first category who can avail the Balikbayan privilege. I am a Filipino (not a former Filipino) whose been outside the Philippines for many years and got married to a foreign spouse. Does the Balikbayan privilege still apply to my foreign spouse and kids?
thanks for the info jennifer...but can we directly extend for 2 months after the 30 days period since we are only staying for total of 75 days in phil..rather than availing the 29 days extension and and extending again for 1 month...thanks response will be appreciated godbless
Hi maam. Yung boyfriend ko po nag exceed ng 31 days sa ticket niya imbes na dapat 30 days lang po. Visa free po siya from Japan. Ano po ba dapat gawin?
So, is it possible that my Norwegian citizen bf can get his visa on arrival? Like instead of having 30 days visa free, can he get 59 days visa free upon arrival at the airport or he must apply visa before travelling in the Philippine embassy at his country? Sana masagot po. Thank you
Hi Jennifer, can I ask if what do you mean by as long as you don't have criminal record? My boyfriend has a criminal record but he already served his criminal offense 9 years ago. He is worried when you mentioned that only foreign tourist who does not have criminal records can extend. His flight is on may and any answers will be much appreciated. Thank you
Just a thought... A criminal record depends on what It was for. Violence and robbery, may be viewed more seriously than lesser offences. If he can get a copy of his record and have It apostled to show a lesser or term served crime, this would make applying (if asked) easier. but If he Is just a tourist, my experience Is they don't ask. If you go for SRRV you will be told to supply a criminal record check weather you have served time or not.
Hi my australian fiance will arrive on Dec 1 for our wedding and the return ticket is Jan 12. he will stay here for 42 days. Is ok an ganun young nabook nya na return ticket even mag apply palang sya ng visa waiver here when he arrive? I hope you can answer. Thank you.
Great video Jennifer Please can you tell me if it true After 36 months I can leave the Philippines for 1 day and return and start again with 30 days and so on Thanks I have a girlfriend that wants me to stay as long as I can
Hello, I am an American living /permanently & legally in the Philippines. My American friend will arrive here next month for a visit. He just realized that he booked his return ticket that departs on the 32nd day after his arrival. Rebooking is ticket is NOT an option as he did not book directly from the airline carrier. My question is what will happen upon his arrival in Manilla? Will he be denied entry? Will he be sent to immigration upon arrival to apply for a Visa Waiver Extension? What will the fee be? Should he be worried at all? What do you recommend? Thank you in advance.
I didn’t see my country. I’m from El Salvador but I live in California would I be able to fly from California to Philippines with a Salvador visa ? And how do I renew or gain a permanent residency ?
Hi Miss Jennifer, thank you for this information. I woul just like to ask I have a partner from Finland and we just got married this year. He visited Philippine this year already under visa free . Can he visits Philippines the same year again? Thank you so much .
Jennifer may I ask where and when you got this information that visas can be extended past 30 days? Did you contact the Manila BI branch directly? I ask because I chatted with a visa agent just a few weeks ago who said the Manila office is NOT giving extensions (but the Angeles office is). Hopefully that is changed or will be changed.
You extend or not ? The airline wouldn’t allow me to leave the uk saying can’t stay more than 30 days! Can you please get back to on what to do please.
You need to show a return ticket of no more than 30 days, so if you extend your visa in the Philippines for more than 30 days means you have to buy another ticket to go back home?
Hi Jennifer, I will be travelling to the Philippines with my American husband. Do I have to go to the consular’s office to get that Balikbayan Privelege sticker? or pwd drtso na sa airport?
No need to go to the consulate. You ask the PH Immigration officer (at the airport) for the balikbayan privilege. Your husband must bring your marriage certificate.
