@@chilefullguide Thank you for the reply again. Unfortunately, the U.S. embassy here in Chile doesn't help at all with this process nor with any helpful information.
Hi! Two questions…One I already wrote on a separate feed. I applied for my visa a month ago. It said online that the FBI background check/apostille can’t be more than 60 days old. Mine was around 65 days old when I applied for the visa because the United States is taking 10-11 weeks to process apostille requests. I have no control over this. Do you think this will be a problem? Currently in the US, there are no walk-ins because of COVID. There is no option to expedite services. Paying for a third party to do this process faster wouldn’t work since every request now has to be mailed in. I’m hoping they’re flexible with this. I’m applying for temporary resident visa to work. Can I reapply in country for another year as US citizen? I don’t completely understand this part. Thank you so so much in advance.
Hi! Yes, usually for Chile they can be flexible in some aspects, plus it takes them way much longer to process the visa. Also, if they will think this is an issue, they will ask you to send the document one more time to proceed with the visa process. 2. You can reapply for another year, only the first request must be done outside of the country. Any visa prolongations can be done from Chile
Hey! I had to fix some documents. I applied October 22nd for the work visa. I heard back January 4th. I fixed everything February 12th. It’s been almost 6 months in total. Do you happen to know if there are people waiting longer than 6 months now?
Hi! Thanks for the videos... I am a male U.S. citizen currently in Chile on a tourist visa. My partner ( who is a Chilean citizen, we are not married or have a civil union) and I are expecting a child soon, who will be born in Chile. I am trying to figure out the temporary visa process and the true required documents for myself to gain a temporary visa, but am wondering if you have any experience or insight for this?
Hi! First things first, congratulations on the baby! You can obtain visa after your child is born if you give a chilean citizenship to the baby. (in the meantime you can prolong tourist visa) Having a baby will give you a 'vinculo con chileno' which is a base for visa. As for documents, for visa temporaria you will need birth certificate of the baby, your passport, your first obtained visa, a certificate of no criminal record and prove of income.
Hello i have a job offer from chile, I have applied on the national migration service portal. Completed the payment and received an email for it. Can you guide what we ll be the further process now. Any step by step guide or what exactly needs to be done from now by me
I got a job offer from Chile. I want to apply for work visa. Can you please share information regarding Medical certificate, can anyone share sample of medical certificate?
Hello, thank you for sharing information. I'd like to ask you some questions (under the new Chilean Immigration Law): 1- Minimum passive income (per month) to get Chilean Rentista Visa? I've heard 1500 - 2000 USD, is that true? 2- After getting the Visa Temporaria (by Rentista Visa), would it be possible to later qualify for the Visa Permanente if I live in Chile only for 3-4 months per year? 3- Would it be possible to later qualify for the Chilean citizenship if I live in Chile only for 3-4 months per year? Thank you for reading.
Hi! 1. From 2022 there is no strict minimum for some countries. But yeah, 1500 - 2000 USD is a minimum to live calmly in most part of the country 2. Yes, you can have permanencia living in Chile for a short period of time 3. As far as I know, no. As a citizenship requires a min of about 6 months per year to live in Chile. And there is also an issue with interview that can be any moment, so you will have to fly in the country asap, and you need to have a permanent address in Chile
@@chilefullguide I’ve heard about extremely long wait times for the definitivas. Have you heard of any temporary resident visas that are going over the 6 month wait period? Apparently my visa is in the last stage (resolution), but I just don’t know how much longer to wait.
I was told that for the temporary resident visas, the ones that are taking a lot longer than 6 months are the ones where people had entered in wrong personal info and such. I haven’t done that… I just had to fix some company documents which result in a 2 month delay… So, technically I’ve waited 7+ months, but it’s really only been 5 1/2 months with that delay. 🤦🏼♀️
hello my dear friend, i applied for visa all ready 4 months ago. but still not yet get any update. why taking so long? can you please tell me why it taking so long.
