A Music Video all about the awesome anime series "Visions of Escaflowne", also known as "The Vision of Escaflowne" by Shoji Kawamori. Features mostly battle scenes from Episode 1-5. Enjoy, rate and comment, please :)
"You have used the Draconian blood! Espano gives NO GUARANTEE!" Great AMV, there are so many amvs to the movie and so little to the series... so double gratz to this one ^^"
Dude Escaflowne will always be one of my favorite animes and also from Sunrise studio, when i saw back in the 90s as a little kid i didn't really know was going on...now i'm like O.O Haven't seen the movie but I hear it's really horrible.
Do you take requests because I was wondering if you could do a AMV as a tribute to Allen and Chid a father sin tribute it can be a happy or sad one I was thinking a father proud of his son sort of thing?
@@chrismaccool9097 Hi, sorry to disappoint you, but I did this as a one-time project many years ago. Now I don't have the source material of the Escaflowne show anymore and no good video editing tools, let alone time. I'm sure though that someone out there is thrilled to be doing your suggestion, I'm sure it would make for a good AMV 🙂
OMG, it so totally does! xD I never noticed that, now I'll probably hear it everytime. I dunno if I should thank you or hate you for that, but it's still hillarious.
@VampiricBeauty017 Me too :) I recorded the complete series on tape back then. The quality was horrible since the channel was all jittery. Anyway, the problem with the DVDs is that they are out of print AFAIK, so they should be really pricy nowadays. Unless your willing to spend a whole lot of money, I'd suggest watching it elsewhere.
I've got the original VHS tapes. Way better than the DVD version that my son bought a few years ago. Almost like they changed up the anime and storyline.
@VampiricBeauty017 You can get the complete collection from Amazon for $35.99 right now. I have the original discs. I remember buying them as soon as they came out. I never saw it on tv, but from what I hear perhaps that was a good thing.
@hayseman As always, check Wikipedia and Google before asking for a 500-character answer as a RU-vid comment. This is not rocket science, you know. The 26 episode TV series is the original plot. It used to be a 39 episode shonen anime (for boys) but lost funding and became a 26 episode shonen/shoujo hybrid show (for boys/girls). The show was so popular that they made a movie with a independent plot. The two are not connected in any way. The movie is not that good compared to the show anyway.
I am a bit confused about this series because I just recently watched the anime and the movie. But they show two completely different types of worlds. The anime's world was a little more fleshed out just because it was a lot longer. But the movie seemed more grounded then the anime. Could some explain to me which story arc is the original and where I can find more information explaining the movie story arc???
