I’m a bit divided on the rework, I am gonna miss illusionary realm because it was good mantra( came in clutch when low) and also because funny domain expansion. But now there is a lot more combo potential involved. I will say that making it so that you can control the clones actions and adding swapping between them is really cool, they cooked for that part. I also see a solid amount of PvE potential with big AOE attacks being repeated on the clones. I’m gonna do a full rework on my build before I do any final thoughts. The potential seems up there, but damn I’m gonna miss the realm.
Ngl these reworks have been kinda ass. They keep removing the stuff you pick the oath for the big cool oath moves, idk why these aren’t oath paths instead. Like who thought it was a good idea to remove mani katti??? And illusory realm? Those are like the moves you show your friends to be like “hey look how cool I am”
@@athena8401 I wasn’t talking about functionality yeah neither were great, but they where both really cool and actually made the oaths unique. Silent hearts biggest design weakness in my opinion was how BORING it was mani katti and illusory realm were pretty bad, but they were both really cool looking and thats what really makes people use an oath.
@@EPaoNao the moves it has now just feel bland in my opinion, like they just don’t have that punch. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by guilty gear but like these just seem kinda lackluster to replace an entire oath, I wish they had made it a path. Also I’m really disappointed with how visionshaper plays I wanted it to ATLEAST play like vergils doppleganger or best case scenario they make a functioning puppet character style oath
@@gunnyisgoodboi4846 nah silentheart is way cooler with weapon switching and all the new moves, mani katti is really lame, you could make an argument for realm but i think the new clones are far more interesting
Haven't used it yet but it sound extremely good great for illusion not knowing where you will teleport for the enemy and overwhelming them with clone copying your move for great combo and synergy but at the cost of DOMAIN EXPANSION
I don't get the point of copying your opponent's moves, why would you want to do that? The whole point of the oath is clearly to make a specific build that does specific combos, and to do that you'll need to make your clones copy something specific. If you just have them copy something random from the opponent, they're worthless. The moves copied from the opponent should be heavily buffed or something, maybe they deal 75% of the normal move's damage.
How effective is this really cause if I’m correct don’t the clones die super easily? Making it almost impossible to stack things or just fight as they might just hit the clone on accident. I haven’t tried it btw
I pray that they leave blindseer alone, I’m okay with visionshaper’s changes but seeing how they didn’t even hesitate removing realm I worry they might remove sightless beam from blindseer. I feel like it’s as good as it needs to be at the moment. But yeah interesting rework.
If im going to be completely honest I feel like this rework ruins visionshaper. Sure the swapping out with a clone thing is cool and all but removing illusory realm was too much. I feel as though illusory realm was what really gave visionshaper its "illusion magic" feel and now that its completely gone I'm pretty sad 😔
Dude this is a great rework and I’m suprised at how many people think it isn’t, that said I think they could add like two or more talents in regards to control of the clones in order for it to be really good/interesting. This does not ruin visionshaper whatsoever and as fun as illusory realm partially was (in which tbh all it did was just give you a buff) it didn’t fit the oath at all, this is so much cooler and having it be a technical oath is such a great change. I’m glad deepwoken is making so many changes that rework shit that is want as great
people are gonna cry about it for a couple of days until they stop listening to idiots on the internet and realize this rework is actually awesome just like silentheart
@@ParaphymBeen a Visionshaper main since release, and this rework is genuinely fire. People nitpicking bc Deepwoken players hate their devs, but hopefully it stays as is.
For all the people saying this is ass, you either love aba and only like 2% braincell 1,2,3 to 4 skill spam or are a different kinda special, visionshaper has so much potential the mimic mantra not only mimics the opponents last mantra and crit but OATH moves too its really nice.
agamatsu you GOTTA tell the devs to re-add realm as a bladeharper tool. call it "Dueling", and make it so that if you hover over someone with your cursor that you have combat tagged and arent too far away, you enter a 1 second long animation before teleporting both of you into a arena with no escape. the arena lasts 45 seconds but everytime the user gets hit it goes down by 5 seconds, and everytime the victim gets hit it goes up by 3 seconds. to anyone outside the arena you are just doing that intangible kneel that people did when they were in illusionary realm. did i cook or should i read a book?
would be sorta kinda decent, i would remove the goes up by 3 seconds when you hit your opponent tho. And it just wouldn't make sense to add it since bladeharper is a weapon oath.
