Thinking of visiting the US sometime soon? Here is our list of the ten best cities to visit on your next trip to or through the US. America has a lot to offer travelers, from beaches in Miami to Historic sites in Boston to LA glitz and glamour. So for travel advice in the US look no farther and enjoy our Top 10 USA.
We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.
amzn.to/2L55pDR
We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.
amzn.to/2WbTNFH
We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.
amzn.to/35AWqUs
Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.
amzn.to/2YDeADt
Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here
Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

I liked Portland, though I really like maine in general. I used to take summer schooner rides with my grandfather and a group of his friends when I was a kid. nice towns, great scenery and coast. though I do remember the roads having issues with the freeze thaw. thanks for watching and commenting!

I live in San Francisco and I was scared we didn't make your list! It's foggy 70% of the time here though so I always feel bad when I see tourists visit on an off day but definitely come visit! It's never too cold nor hot, there's so much food, and there is such diversity that we get warned growing about how different it is in other places in the United States, and it's true. We literally are a crucible of culture, food, people, and attractions with mediterranean weather and I love it!

Couple things not mentioned about LA: BEACHES (Malibu, Santa Monica, Huntington, etc), Grand Central market, MUSEUMS (Griffith observatory, LACMA, the Broad, etc), theme parks (Six flags, Knott's Berry farm, etc), watch a show at the Hollywood Pantages, see a concert at Disney Hall or a show at the Hollywood Bowl, there's so much to do!

We have been there three times and unfortunately have spent the majority of the time in manhatten, but we did get to Brooklyn and the Bronx. I am hoping to get to NY in the next year to do some more on location videos for new York. with this video I only had about 45 seconds per city so it was tough. please let me know what the best places in NY are so I can visit them and hopefully film them next year! all the best! and thanks for watching and commenting!

I am glad Chicago is number 1. I grew up around Chicago and haven't seen everything plus things have changed. I went up the Sears Tower and not it is the Willis Tower. Long ago I went up the John Hancock and now it is 360 Chicago where you can like step out on glass. The museum of science and industry changes all the time too. He did a great job of highlighting things in see in America's greatest cities.

I think you need to revisit LA, it has really been fixed up over the last 20 years. Use Atlas Obscura as a travel guide and visit funky places like Clifton's, the Last Bookstore and the Museum of Jurrassic Technology. Check out a play in Topanga, the beaches in Malibu and walk Main Street and Abbott Kinney in Venice and Santa Monica. I am always finding something new here; I just discovered the Arts District and it is like a whole new world.

During my Eastern US - trip this February I visited some great cities, but my absolute favourite was Richmond, VA! Perfect combination of history and pride, as well as new and young life. Cheers from Germany
@christiangainey1223
@christiangainey1223 9 лет назад
Lol, ten years ago Richmond, Virginia had the 9th highest murder rate in the nation at 43 murders per 100,000 residents, which means that Richmond had a murder rate 43x higher than compared to Germany and more than 28x higher than Berlin. Today, the murder rate has more than halved with a murder rate of 20.2 murders for every 100,000 people, which means that Richmond is STILL one of the most dangerous cities in the U.S., with a murder rate more than 22x higher than Germany and more than 13x higher than Berlin. Looks can be deceiving, huh? ;)

@E3guyy
@E3guyy 10 лет назад
woltersworld Hey Wolter Im a big fan and your reply means a lot to me. you should definitely do a 5 things you will love and hate for philadelphia. I would recommend eating at Pat's or Geno's or both for a cheesesteak, visit the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, theres the Philadelphia museum of art where Rocky ran up the steps, chinatown, the Italian market, eastern state penitentiary, the Philadelphia Zoo which is the oldest zoo in America, and so many others. its great this time of year!
@jalfredl
@jalfredl 10 лет назад
woltersworld Philly has a bit of everything you can think of (Philly is like a mix btw maybe Chicago and Boston). There are different types of neighborhoods like Chinatown, Little Saigon and Italian ones. We have plenty of museums (from Art, History and Science) like the Art Museum (Rocky), Franklin Institute or The Mutter Museum. Many places to shop, eat and hang out especially in Center City. Like E3guyy wrote, there's The Eastern State Penitentiary, the zoo, the Italian Market. I would also like to add the Reading Terminal Market, Penn's Landing and not to mention the historical places like the Independence hall or Betsy Ross House. REMEMBER that Philadelphia is a major sports town, so we have many sports bars all over and the stadiums are in South Philly for games/concerts (Sports Complex). Philly is also a big college town, we have Temple, Penn, Drexel, St. Joes, LaSalle, Villanova (outside in the city) and others. So, you'll see plenty of students walking and hanging around the city Last thing, I would not recommend Pats nor Genos (there are better, underrated places to grab a cheesesteak), and plus Philly is a lot more than just cheesesteaks, we have food/restaurants from all over the world.
@jalfredl
@jalfredl 10 лет назад
woltersworld Even though, there are awesome places in Philadelphia. I am not from Philly, but I went to Temple for four years, and there are a few things I should warn you about the city. First (most important), Philly is a very dirty city, which you'll see/smell garbage all around (subways station, around sidewalks..etc). Second, our subway system isn't much (SEPTA only has two lines & PATCO has one going to Jersey) and a decent bus system (SEPTA). Finally, beware of the Philly Arrogance, especially around Philly fans, bc they can be very rude and careless at times. Other than that, Philadelphia is a great city in its own right, you'll find good people and great places to go in the city.
