I'm particularly fond of Bolzano, especially during the Christmas market time, but it's also a little tourist-crowded. There are also some cool toboggan runs, but I don't know what little towns they were in. We really love driving through the Brenner pass too! The Dolomiti are amazing!

@ mares traveling - Tyrol seems very nice. Some time ago I found out that during the early 19 century, people from Tyrol at the time of the Austro-Hungarian empire migrated to Peru. They founded there own community in the province of Oxapampa in Peru. Swabians from Germany also migrated to Oxapampa.
