All I wanted to do was to go back to the Harz Mountains, an area which I have been to multiple times and which I dearly love. My partner had heard about Goslar and so we planned to spend one day in Goslar. We ended up spending far more time than we planned. It's a stunning place, full of traditional German architecture, many well preserved 16th and 17th Century buildings and even many Medieval features remaining. I decided to divide my Germany visit into 3 parts. The first part mainly features the beautiful buildings of Goslar, the local museum and the Imperial Palace, 'Kaiserpfalz'. In part 2 we will explore the mining history of Goslar, plus more of the Harz area and in part 3 I will take you back to my roots and show you where I grew up. I hope you enjoy and feel inspired to visit! 😉
For the intro music, I have started to experiment with Spitfire LABS ... what a joy.
