In a break from usual content... I visited the ancient city of Mashhad, Iran. As part of my journey, I took a day trip to the ancient village of Kang. Kang sits at 1000 meters on the slopes of Mount Binalud. Its origins reach back over 3000 years. It was an incredible experience. The people there reminded me of the common bond we all share as a human family.

Thanks for the tour! I love looking at landscape and architecture. However, the smiles of the people were the most enjoyable part!

Mesopotamia is a place I'd love to explore... Susa and other regions..... but not viable. Thankyou for sharing this glimpse. It's very valuable. I think they have a better grounded life.

Hey Abdul, lovely to see your post this Christmas morning. It's a bit weird to be watching video of a taxi ride through Iran but against the usefulness of your other material there's a certain balance. Take care.

I love ancient villages/places. I really believe they need to be preserved and visited often. I originate from Najaf and there are ancient landmarks there. We visited a place in Kufa that was the home of a Saint, which recently underwent some preservation. It was surreal going there and realising there was a life before you there. It’s beautiful.
