Bro my Dad was posted in J&K for 3 years we saw the best of J&K before 1990. I was little and we stayed in Indra vihar in Srinagar, Srinagar Cantonment and Kupuwara. It was different era, food was great, people were friendly and helpful and a very positive environment. We visited all of J&K and have very good memories :))

Hats Off to Kashmiri Pandits for not giving in and converting, they kept their culture and religion intact, at the risk of their lives!, Today when I see all these Terorrists and criminals groups copping out and saying their circumstances forced them to bear arms and turn to violence, then look at our Kashmiri Pandits, they were forced out of their homes and livelihood, and most fled to Delhi , where some were on streets, but they started from scratch and made something of themselves and for their families, most Kashmiri pandits infact all of them are well educated and have a respectable position in Society, have you ever hear of Kashmiri pandits resort to violence or infact in any criminal acts ?NOPe!!, so we all should take a page from their book--SO proud that you are a part of our Indian culture and our great country INDIA
