It’s wild to see a whole vlog about the area I live in! We’re very fortunate to live about 30 minutes from Acadia and raise our family here. It’s incredible to be able to just take our son for a hike after work or explore the beach. Thanks for sharing!

I really enjoyed your video! We have stayed at Bar harbor villager motel several times the location is great! Just a short walk to Chocolate latte for morning coffee and the climbing school.
I did one trail hike in Acadia in 2019 on my way to Canada. I think it was the Cadillac Mountain S Ridge trail. Now that I have a van I am going to spend a few days there in 2024.
Maine is beautiful! My manager is going to let me start working remotely! Thinking about moving to Maine for a year. New England is the one part of the country that I haven’t visited yet so it’ll give me an opportunity to see that part of the country. Thanks for sharing!

So glad you got to enjoy Acadia/Bar Harbor. You couldn’t have picked a better time to visit as it is quite crowded in the summertime. Rue looked like she enjoyed herself too. I live a couple hours away up the coast and we try to visit in the fall during foliage season.
Good stuff Sarah. I have a buddy that lives in Portland Maine and go there often. Great little "city" with an easy vibe. Good food, good people and crappy weather most of the year.. I'm a Florida guy so sunshine is important! Your cinematography and editing is really good!! Must be that "eye" to produce good radiographs😁
Such a beautiful area. We visited the Portland Maine area earlier this year, we traveled North a bit and hiked, but would have liked to go farther North to Acadia but there wasn’t enough time. 😊

What was the name of the beach where you spent the first night? I couldn't catch the name. We spend June and July in Phippsburg, about an hour northeast of Portland.
When I was a traveling Nurse, some travel companies offer it, but not much compensation. It was about the same price as getting my own outside health insurance. I realize you’re not asking me, but that was my experience.
